Uruguay Balance of Trade
Agricultural supplies are main Uruguay's exports, meat, vegetables, rice, and dairy products make for 52% of all exports. The following are the most common imports: industrial supplies, crude, and refined oil, machinery, and equipment. The two most important trading partners are Brazil (20% of total exports and 19% of total imports) and Argentina (8% of exports and 18% of imports). China, the United States, Venezuela, and Germany are among the other trading partners.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the UYU while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the UYU.
