As to the other issue - make sure you're running the EA as administrator (right click).

Exactly how I feel.
Looked at zulutrader today but too many bad reports on the net about them and fxPrimus
Let me know if anyone knows of a service to replace MT4.

I also added a new ActivTrades Account few days ago at my local Pc. Also works fine and updates every 5 minutes.

It is server's issue, yes, but MT4 server's :)
In fact Metaquotes restricts number of connection from one IP to MT4 server. Thus, being with much clients, MyFxBook should make many (same restricted) connections form a single IP. That is the problem. The broker can't do anything, iti is in in the binary code of MT4 server, build 500. There are no interfaces where it could be set - it just happens. So, MT4 server blocks the IPs, the broker is even not aware of that until someone (the blocked client) call him. And the broker answers: "but I do not restrict anything" - which is true! Because MT4 server does it!
And the broker cant do anything - cant mess the binary code of the server...
The other services you mentioned - it is simple same as EA update here. It is just called "a bridge" which is same EA that you may use at MyFxBook.
I am not related to MyFxBook in any way btw...

So does anyone know if Metaquotes are actually working on fixing this 'bug'? It seems to be affecting a large part of our trading community.. I'm looking for a suitable alternative to MT4 as a manual trading platform. I don't mind paying. Anyone got any suggestions?

I suggest to Myfxbook people that pay a license to METAQUOTES as the broker do and then they'll have the same rights as a broker.
Do MYFXBOOK pay a license to METAQUOTES. I think it cost $5,000 only.
Then they'll clients, instead of being treated as Pirates.
Is it correct?

The publisher doesn't seems to be working on one of my accounts...
STOR issues... And when i try to connect directly via FTP with a FTP Client i get a lot of issues to upload the statement.html file manually. But, it seems to be uploading after all. The thing is that my system's page doesn't seem to be updating accordingly...

STOR issue means you haven't ticket the passive mode option in the ftp settings.

There is no available license nor API as far as we're aware.

that's so ridiculous. now one account is again updating and the other one not.
also the one account which is not updating, has not the connect button in the settings anymore.
what is happening here? both accounts use the latest 500 mt4 version.
so why is one working and the other one not???!

fxsecure, MT4 licenses are only offered to brokers and cost $100K + $1500/month. I've asked.
Anyhow, Ethan, I've mentioned this before but one quick thing you can do to ease the pressure is to provide an "unlink" option. I've probably created 500 myfxbook accounts over the years. However, I'm only actively using about 30-40 at one time. The rest I am happy to unlink although I don't want to delete the history. I am sure that a large number of the 70K accounts are abandoned and taking up resources.
