And the lesson is clear: Do not trade against the trend and market sentiment...Or at least just aim for a minimal and conservative profit (closing targets) of long positions in a down trending currency.

who else didn't have the second batch of buys close. My first batch closed with -30% but I never got a second batch luckily. I have only had sells since the loss. I would also like to know what sort of signal this uses to open trades because since the loss it has been continuously been opening sells immediately after closing trades. Also it is closing trades 3-4 pips past the target line when I have a spread of 2 pips. Would like some info on this if anyone has any.

We did hit the SL but it was very unfair because our trades should have closed 2 times and they didnt due to our broker.

We will be changing broker.

I have to say firstly I'm not connected with BlueMonkey in any way so this review is completely unbiased.

I agree they had problems with their broker please my trades over the last two weeks have been profitable and all closed. I've some sells open from today in a tiny loss but otherwise everything has been great and I think others who have been using the EA should come on here and say whether they have been making profits or not. It's a real shame bluemonkeys chart looks the way it does now. What a blow!!!

My own experience for the past 4 months using BM has been quite profitable. The return so far has been almost 100% because I used a reduced lot size in favor of less risk. The chart was also steadily inclining as smooth as the monkey's butt :-)

The fact that I like about BM is that it shows us the cumulative target profit line. So in the event that the open positions are against a strong trend, and we observe the target profit is unlikely to be reached due to it's beyond a strong resistance/support, I wouldn't hesitate to execute a manual close for all positions.

If Alex and everyone else used 30% drawdown, it wouldn't have been so bad.

Alex, you currently have both eurgbp and Gbpusd open and I have 2 accounts running bmea 1 matches your and the other did not register the gbpusd trade. Thoughts? Could it be the broker?

I was reminded of BlueMonkeys chart when I looked at this video on youtube. Looks remarkably similiar.

Hopefully the new updated version of Blue Monkey will work out better.

Even if you close your one eye and see through the other, the chart will tell you a currency is trending or not. My friend my friend, the trend is your friend just ask Mr. Chart!!

Why are you blaming the broker. I find your argument is hard to believe. If what you're saying is true then send SL and TP value. But your system is covering that.

Now it's easy for you to claim anything.

If I may chime in on this... I think recognizing the trend is not really an issue, because if the price is constantly going upward on the chart, we know the trend is up, and vice versa. The problem is to predict where and when the trend will end and turn around. Knowing this would make you a master! Based on my observation, most of the time BMEA actually does trade with the trend, but once in a while it got trapped in the trend reversal, and this what would blow your account!

so how millions pips did you made by finding the right trend in 1 second no matter the time frame? :)
did you follow a MA 3, MA 14, MA 50, MA 200?
does the trend is M1 or D1? there is trends everywhere!!!! based on each person on each indicator etc...
does the expected target of this trend is 1 pip or 100pips? what's the SL you recommend... in case the trend is finally not the trend? :)
and if you can find the trend, when did you identify the trend is over? because we are still in a trend when we are at the top of a trend, just before a big reversal...
the trend is not enough... you have to know that the trend is expiring and you do not have to trade. so how did you know this critical case?
I found about 150 trend following strategies, most of them simply doesn't works... so following the trend is easy?
so please, explain YOUR trend following system. it will be certainly different from mine and from a lot of other traders. :)

the bluemonkey EA will be improved if you can share your holy gray...

All commonsense fundamentals of trend following are no meaning to the vendor!!! He had blown out his previous account and started with new broker and now again blaming broker!!! and not properly improving his martingale EA.
