No, its indicator based and indicators rely on the Bar Data from M15 timeframe. These bars should be the same across all brokers. I' haven't seen any account that mimics the vendor account 100% you may get the same entry, but the exiting has been different for the users. Now that users are getting an entry without the vendor getting the same trade is worth contacting the vendor

It's possible other price feed factors too, I think that's why I'm matching vendors better now at TW verses MyFxChoice.
I know it should not matter but I heard once for all EA's to use a bar chart instead of candle on your MT4...does anyone know or think that could ever make a diff? I have some charts candle and some bar...

bar or candle still has the same Open High Low Close. So no that wouldn't matter. Also different data feeds should not matter because the bar creation is over a time span of 15 minutes and not M1 bars. M1 bars vary greatly between data feeds but any larger time frame should be consistent. The data feed tick volume can have an impact though since the indicators update by each tick.

Yes, TW is great and had two successful trades today that did not show on vendors account. Most of times match trades on VTP and RTP. I have live TW account and highly recommend them, Joe Carney provides fast and excellent customer service.
IC Markets Demo had no trades all week...

Good point! Though you can always open a demo account and see if the claims hold true (I was considering this myself actually).

I have no intentions on changing my broker at this time, and the lack of activity with VTP discourages me from continuing its use.
I have submitted a refund request today. I will let everyone know the outcome of my case.

I am in Hong Kong and using a local broker here and that trade did happen. However, I did miss the 3rd+4th trades of GU on 13 Feb. This all happens and I have nothing to worry about.

Truly, I won't lose any sleep over your lack of sharing. It's nice to know there are people like you who know what forums like this are for (sarcasm).
At least you granted me a response.
PS. According to ClickBetter my refund request is successful, though I have yet to receive the money. Good luck to those that continue using VTP.

Anyone interested, I ran a back test on GBPUSD from Jan 2013 to Feb 2015 on Dukascopy data over the weekend with fairly low risk (0.5 lot size). Here is the result:
http://www.myfxbook.com/strategies/vtp-gbp-20130101-20150220/77610
Interestingly hit maximum draw down in the first 5 trades, and still produces some respectable results overall.

Thanks for sharing Frank Wright. Anyone has done the back test for EURUSD? Initially I'm thinking to give it a try but the DD seems like a bit high...
VTP strategy claimed as using price action for trade entry, the way I observed from author account it SL 110 pips and TP 20 pips make me think that it is a Scalping EA look alike. Hmm..

I explained in another post already that a myfxbook account won't prove anything as I use several EA's, etc on my TW account.
You sound like another serial refunder with no patience to give the EA a chance. You know, I bought good ol' megadroid many years ago at launch date and still works great as an additional EA to my arsenal to this day. I like Megadroid as an added EA because it does not trade very often but when it does it is almost always profitable. It has a very sweet way of recovering any drawdown. I look forward to same with VTP & RTP for many many years to come with no need to purchase anymore EA's. You cannot force trades, get too many bad ones. I say some patience is in order for long term results.
I see other poster here bashing VTP but what do you know, he has one to sell too LOL! Starts cheaper but of course with more pairs you get to pay around $800, wonderful! I have seen them all come and go but I see long term benefits of sticking with VTP and RTP along with Megadroid and a couple others. I have seen people bash Megadroid too but they are not being patient with it and have crappy broker, etc, etc.
Good luck!

EURUSD under my profile for more backtests of vortex trader pro and yes, its TP 20 SL110 with indicator logic.
