Some traders set a limit of X traders per day max and stick to it. I imagine this helpful for those that over trader a lot

Overtrading is such a thing which traders always face. There is no difference whether you're a professional trader or a rookie, all types of traders can be susceptible to overtrading. The main matter here is personal relation of traders to trading. Some traders, who tend to earn as much as they can, are susceptible to overatrding more, because they unwisely distribute their resources such as power and time. I believe that it's quite a spread issue in trading community and there are some ways how to get rid of overtrading. Traders should comply with working and relaxing regimes in order to let their organisms relax from trading.

Overtrading is one of the most common and costly bad habits of traders. It’s sometimes assumed that the more you trade, the more you make. However, it is not true as trading is a game of patience.

Automation of trading and scheduling of trading sessions excludes the possibility of overload. If you trade during a trading session that starts at night, then you will have to use a EA to sleep on time, or change your working day. Overtrading is profitable if you practice such a brainstorm periodically, during key market events. But don't do that 24/7.
