What makes one a Professional Trader?

the professional trader is a trader who know how to make money , actually money management is the core of this market place.

A professional trader is one who generates all of their income from trading

Discipline, planning, and a proven set of rules are the only ways an average person can become a Professional Trader.

To begin with, professional means the situation when a person earns their living with the help of some activity. It is something like what makes a professional footballer different from the amateurs: it is the fact that a professional football player's main income comes from playing football. So, it has nothing to do with skills or expertise. There are many bad professional sportsmen, actually. A professional trader is a person who earns their living through trading. I feel that it is pretty obvious to everyone that if they are able to provide themselves with the help pf trading, it means that they have enough expertise and skills to share. That is why the books which were written by professional traders are so popular and people trust them.

For me, a professional trader is not the one who earns huge profits but the one who has a deep knowledge about even the most basic things. Therefore, I believe that continuous practice is needed to become professional. One must be ready to enrich his knowledge constantly through learning. For that most traders utilise resources such as social media platforms, books or advanced trading courses.

Discipline, planning, psychiatry, good strategy, money management, risk management, if done properly, it is possible to become a professional trader.

Experience is the main thing that separates professionals from beginners. Professionals have been in the field for longer and during that time have had to find ways to identify their bad habits, better ways of doing things and even modifying their trading strategies in such a way that they are consistently profitable.

Being consistently profitable is what makes a pro trader. If you are consistent then go pro but if you are not then you are just another loser

Professional forex traders are the ones who trade with discipline & consistency, have proper risk and money management skills and have proper control on their emotions.

Professional traders are consistently profitable. Thats it, they are able to make a living from trading. There is a key difference though they are not consistently winning all the time they are profitable in the long run with losses accounted for imo

A trader can be called a professional if his/her income depends on their trading results. Likewise a sportsmen can be called a professional if he relies on the sports results.

If you're not a professional, you will not be successful. Professional does not mean you should take trading as a professional. It is about having the necessary knowledge and a mindset that is suitable for trading in forex.

Professional traders have a passion for trading. They enjoy the financial rewards of trading, and they thrive on success. A professional trader has a plan, knows their risk parameters, and sticks to a plan.

One that makes money from trading over the long term.

According to me, consistent hardwork and dedication can always lead to you to the road of success.

To me, a professional trader is one where his/her primary (and sometimes only) income is derived from the profits of his/her trading.

If you teach others how to trade and make all of your income from teaching, then you're not a forex trader, you're a forex educator.

A professional trader needs to have the right mindset, follow a system that is profitable in the long run, have discipline, and be able to handle risk.
