Professionalism can only be achieved through hard work.
@Kazile you are right. It takes a heck of hard work to succeed and to become a professional and not just in this business of trading but in every other sphere of life.
Professionals are known to do lots of crazy things that amateurs think is a waste of time or find uncomfortable.
They don't settle for less and they keep grinding until they perfect their craft.
As a trader, you can get to the level of professionalism by working hard to optimize your strategy and system and your trading psychology that ensnares most traders.
To get there, you can start by keeping a trading journal to track every aspect of your trading then weed out areas you struggle with. Here are pointers - https://thetraderinyou.com/forex-trading-journal/

Well, when you are making money doing something - you are professional. That's the actual definition of the word 'professional'.
So if you are making money trading Forex - you are professional. Being professional doesn't mean that you will not do any mistakes - you will. Being professional doesn't mean that you won't lose any money. It just means - it's your profession, your job. That's all.

If you take this job seriously,
If your vision is beyond the buttons .

A professional trader is one who generates all of their income from trading
Discipline, planning, and a proven set of rules are the only ways an average person can become a Professional Trader.
To begin with, professional means the situation when a person earns their living with the help of some activity. It is something like what makes a professional footballer different from the amateurs: it is the fact that a professional football player's main income comes from playing football. So, it has nothing to do with skills or expertise. There are many bad professional sportsmen, actually. A professional trader is a person who earns their living through trading. I feel that it is pretty obvious to everyone that if they are able to provide themselves with the help pf trading, it means that they have enough expertise and skills to share. That is why the books which were written by professional traders are so popular and people trust them.

For me, a professional trader is not the one who earns huge profits but the one who has a deep knowledge about even the most basic things. Therefore, I believe that continuous practice is needed to become professional. One must be ready to enrich his knowledge constantly through learning. For that most traders utilise resources such as social media platforms, books or advanced trading courses.
Quite difficult to say, to be honest. More important is to keep track of your performance.

For me, the most important thing in this industry is experience. For a trader, this is a really important indicator.

Experience is the main thing that separates professionals from beginners. Professionals have been in the field for longer and during that time have had to find ways to identify their bad habits, better ways of doing things and even modifying their trading strategies in such a way that they are consistently profitable.

There are lots of criteria which make one a professional trader. Of course, the main is experience and the ability to earn money due to forex trading. In my opinion, it's the most important indicator of a professional trader. The rstio of wins/losses also matter a lot. Professional traders make less mistakes, hence they have less losses. No doubts, that they had losses when they started trading, however if we look at the statistics now and we see that the ratio is 3:1 for example, for the last half of a year, then we allege that this trader can be considered as a professional one.
I think it's something that all traders have to strive for. The main goal should be becoming a professional trader with such a ratio.

Being consistently profitable is what makes a pro trader. If you are consistent then go pro but if you are not then you are just another loser
Professional forex traders are the ones who trade with discipline & consistency, have proper risk and money management skills and have proper control on their emotions.
