Hi,

I have account at FxPig. It is doing pretty well - deposit 1,770 after month balance is 2,550.

So far so good. The thing is today I got email they 'improved' regulation from New Zealand which I trust to Vanuatu.

Of course I can either accept it or cancel account and go elsewhere. Need to say their trading conditions are good and I wont probable get so good results elesewhere.

So what would YOU do?

I would continue trading with a broker if conditions are decent and withdraw small parts of profit until get used to the fact about new regulator
Green pips to you all!

Any more details you could share? What are the improved regulations from NZ?

Well, in all this there is a lot of risk ... But, if you have seen good results so far, I think you can wait, be patient, and, in a way, risk yourself there.

😄

I am going to keep the account here. It is small but fruitful investment. Once I will withdraw we will see. Also the broker has great reviews on FPA.

Actually it seems my broker was right
I found out NZ regulation is more just registration.
So companies are registered as Forex broker but not regulated

I think Kevin over at FXPIG is one of the most knowledgeable and helpful broker representatives out there. He runs it like it is his business because it is. I have withdrawn small amounts from there also with any issues; 5K. I plan on moving big money over there this coming year which is why your thread caught my attention and I wanted to see if there were any serious flags.

@CGS_Forex
I would like to explain I had no issue so far with FxPig.
I was just surprised they moved to another regulation which I considered less safe and there was email we have to accept this
as it is time sensative - yes sensative not sensitive.

If you feel your money and account are safe there and it works well, sure, keep it up as long as you trust the broker. Good luck and I hope you won't have any issues in the future!

Here are links to two different articles on Finance Feeds about the move with some more background information.

https://financefeeds.com/why-fx-brokers-are-leaving-traditional-regulated-regions-and-going-offshore-we-speak-to-fxpig-ceo-kevin-murcko/

Look guys... we don't do a THING at FXPIG unless we know it's for the better of the clients and the company.

I just wanted to personally comment here...

I am ABSOLUTELY embarrassed about that typo. I am a stickler for grammar and hound my guys daily about using the correct verbiage when communicating with our clients.

We all make mistakes... and I hope to not repeat that one in the future.

On the deadline; we will give enough time for our clients to make a decision. I think 2 to 4 weeks is ample time, and yes, the email could have been worded a bit better, there is no doubt about that.

As always, if you want to voice your opinion or simply ask us a question we are here to help.

Not bad for a small but fruitful investment ... it is good that you have already made your decision. I think it's the best!

Well I do understand now it is improvement and you get the regulation now.
However the email was a little bit hasty(including the typo) - the impression was like I have to accept it immediately.

Understood... mistakes are sometimes the best teachers.

I agree it should have been worded differently.

Thank you for your honest feedback, it is appreciated.

Nice to hear Vontogr.

Keep it up. As you grow we have another aggregation, based on the SPA, that has some tweaks that can greatly increase the efficiency of higher frequency traders. It was developed in conjunction with a group of clients who needed some very particular order routing configurations based on a slew of different rule sets.

FXPIG really is a different kind of broker. And if there is one thing we are knowledgeable in, it is liquidity management.
