Hi all, this is my first post:
1 - i loose a lot of money with FGB, BUT, i had a lot of technical problems, pc, internet cutting and so on...
More, fgb at that time, have the lot issue, and that was REALLY an issue....
FGB IS GREAT, from version 1.15, when lot size was fixed.
2 - my wife'account have lost more than 600 €, but i kept up, and studied... and finally i found, my OWN settings (don't ask I DON't Share)
3 - i changed the whole method of FGB, FGB can give you a profit factor of 3.84, and dradown to 8 %,
Backtest in my opinion were AMAZING.
So i put live, NEWLY, to recharge the account of my wife...
Don't ask i don't share... this post is only , ONLY to tell you, THAT, is not power , basic, or other stuffs.... are only BT, and three things to change...in details 5 things....ok, stop loss and take profit....more three things...
I invite you to look that account, 'cause i will recharge it... is my challenge.... and i will win...
Guy, focus in the BT, focus how to use FGB proprerly, yes, has some bugs (MT4).... but is great...
TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF THE MT4, you have to close manually, in ANOTHER SESSION of mt4 with same username and password... if you close in the same mt4 that the robot is in, it goes crazy (today happened it opened a lot of 0.08, without sense....).

umm.. Maybe 'cause someone is thinking that with wave trailing and the other stuff... fgb will be different... THE BASIC is the key, and you have to play only with 5 parameters... don't waste you money in power version, or advanced, at leat buy more basic licenses.... uh, you are under 37 % with fgb in demo.....don't watch my statement, there fgb in this moment is not running....

Over what period was this backtest performed? I just managed to achieve a profit factor of 17.76 with a drawdown of 1.81% using the default settings. It was admittedly only across a certain week. I've run an optimised backtest across the whole ten years for pretty much every set of parameters that make any sense and I haven't seen anywhere near this performance across the full 10 years of history in MT4.
Over what period was this backtest performed? I just managed to achieve a profit factor of 17.76 with a drawdown of 1.81% using the default settings. It was admittedly only across a certain week. I've run an optimised backtest across the whole ten years for pretty much every set of parameters that make any sense and I haven't seen anywhere near this performance across the full 10 years of history in MT4.

I meant the period for that wa from 1-1-2010 to 22-6 -2011...
I BT in that period...but i can do a 10 years too...by the way all, forget my post i am understanding, that people does not want to put effort in this.... i stay cool now..so ok... buy optimizization here and there... buy buy buy.....

stop loss 0.25
take profit 0.55
now discover the other three setting.... the other three you have to play are:
