fulltime.. i just saw ur report it seems that long trades are not as profitable as the short ones... so your system is a trend following (since report is based on eurusd, eurjpy, gbpusd mainly...) ?
do u have any live acc report?

Its directionless. If the sell side is more profitable for that period currencies were dropping more than they were rising. In the opposite circumstance the Buys would be more profitable. - In the current period the unprofitable buys were paired with profitable sells. It doesnt matter which way the market moves. the positive trades will always point to the trend. It self adjusts.
It ain't easy being Cheesy!

U right, but it wouldn't hurt the Con-Fusion guys to focus on systems that really work 😝

FYI I was able to get a full refund on the FRWC robots today from Plimus after sending in my Live Trade statement (less than full 30 days) which showed that there was no longer sufficient balance to trigger any further trades.😲

Hi Lorak and everyone else,

Thanks for the heads up on Steve Hopwoods closing robot, I'll definately start playing with it later in the week. Together we should be able to figure out some settings that work well with FRWC. At the moment I'm still in my disastrous Strasha trade...
I could close it out with a loss to 25% of the account at the moment, which isn't as horrible as it was earlier.
Quick, any suggestions on the direction you think the EURGBP will take in the next few hours?? :) Anyone can chime in. I'm holding on, as it looks mildly bearish....

Strangely enough I've looked at other peoples demo and live fusion accounts dotted about the net and I seem to be the only person stuck in this trade...I'm going to blame my broker. Most others are in the -220 pip Volcano trade at the moment though, which Im enjoying also.

Carl

On direction for getting out of your Fusion trade gone bad (Strasha)

jonfxbot has a note on the bottom of his posts for a site - www.Dukascopy.com which I had not come accross before

I checked it out in more detail late last night and looks like it has some good directional info / hourly video feeds for members - not sure if that means demo or live account holders but there seemed to some nice info there that you should be able to establish guidance on. I ran out of time before falling asleep at the keyboard to figure that bit out :-(

Thanks to Jon for that data point.

Anybody else that has good forex news / data sites - please message me (Taking note of kerline's post ;-)

Thanks K,
Dukascopy is a great broker. If they ever provide MT4, I'm going straight there.
Here's another info site I found: https://www.fxstreet.com/technical/currencies-glance/pair.aspx?id=eur/gbp

Well, here's the end of my Strasha disaster. I finally decided to get out at a relatively low point (would have been a 20% account loss). As I started closing all the positions, Strasha suddenly went nuts and throwing in sell limits all over the place with increasingly insane lot sizes. Before I could delete them 3 got filled and then the market shot straight up (I don't even know if its possible to be this unlucky). I panicked and shut down Fusion, then manually shut down the trades for a loss of another 20% of the account (these were relatively HUGE lots it opened for no reason). Then 10 mins later the price moved back down and would have ended up okay.

So yeah, I'm just going to go ahead and say it. FUCK STRASHA. This is a horrible, devious, dangerous little prick of a robot that will never ever again find its way into my trading system. I only told this story as a warning. This thing almost blew up my account in a week, imagine what it could do if I gave it a little more time. Its the sort of robot that is going to look okay on a backtest, but because it only goes for 4 pip tps, its going to fail a lot due to bad spreads and price feeds in the real world and its method of coping with fail is to kill you as quickly as it can.

Anyway, now that my angers dealt with, lets get back to it. :)

Actually, technically I have to take back my warning. If I hadn't messed with my trade, the whole disastrous thing would have just closed out for a profit. EURGBP just crashed through its support. Its amateur hour over here. I waited a weekend and 14 hours for it to go my way, and 20 minutes after I close up in despair it happens.

Same here, no trades on advanced hirider in 1 account, also underwater by $340 after 3.5 weeks of trading .1 lots in a different account. Been using Fusion /w updates settings in that account.

LMD had a shoddy night last night too, GPBUSD, EURGBP and USDCHF all hit stoplosses around 60 pips.

Irbis / Wilson1

I also had issues with first install of HiRider Advanced, I applied to old demo account I had had LMD running on. I thought it was me / LMD and so I set up new demo account and it started trading just fine (Well except it's down nearly 300 on a 2K account so graph looks nothing like that sooooooper smoooooooooth graph they posted ;-)

Sorry I didn't post this info earlier, assumed it was something I did :-(
(Maybe it was but this is looking like a common theme - advice would be to set it up on a new demo first if possible)

I do have HiRider at 3656 with 3490 available Equity using MPTM, and 3363 with no current open trades running as is
(3k ACCOUNTS OPENED 03/04).

I was looking forward to HA version as it has promise with Strat 1 gone but early results not inspiring, time will tell.

Dukascopy already offer MT4 on demo, they are in beta test and hope to have MT4 live in a matter of weeks. You can actually trade on Dukascopy using MT4 by using the Jforex-MT4 bridge. Which I already do.
11:15, restate my assumptions: 1. Mathematics is the language of nature. 2. Everything around us can be represented and understood through numbers. 3. If you graph these numbers, patterns emerge. Therefore: There are patterns everywhere in nature.

HR advanced closed 3 nice profit trades during asian session

Hi Steve, thanks for the info mate. I didn't realise they had started offering MT4, but I'm now looking forward to it being out of beta stage. Yep, I've heard about various bridge solutions, but I've always been afraid I don't have the technical knowhow to set it up correctly...

Has anyone had the same awful SV trade in for about 5 days now by the way?
Had some good Hirider trades earlier. It followed them up with a couple more a few hours later which are at -50 now. Think they might be the same couple as yours, KagiFX.

it would be nice if they had a stealth setting on hirider advanced like they do on fusion. Live account gets delays in mt4 close to take profit.

KagiFX1

Excuse my lack of FOREX here if this is dumb, but isn't it the magic number that they would use to identify this ?

If that's the case, can't you change the Magic Number on HA properties to something obscure that doesn't conflict with any of your other Magic Numbers to mask the fact you are using HA ?

Begs the next question to all experienced FOREX / MT4 traders - is there a global list of Known EA magic numbers that anyone has compiled / come across - the brokers must have one to be able to initiate delaying tactics on all known profitable EA's - no ? or am I just being a conspiracy theorist here ?
