You can use Steve Hopwood's trade manager ( search forex factory or read earlier in this thread ) to hide your stops and targets from brokers.

I've just discovered that the Exceptional FX broker - the IB for FXCM that allows you to set up 0.01 lots and is advertised as the one that can be used for Fusion does not allow a demo beyond 30 calendar days. What a joke! So if you are running a trial on this broker you would never get your 30 trading days completed.

Hi Steve, you'll probably find that a lot of brokers don't offer a demo over 30 days. I had demos with Gomarkets, ATC, and MB and they all required me to renew after 30 days if I wanted to keep testing.

So far this week I've had 7 losing LMD trades (100%), a -200 pip Supervolcano loser and about to have one stray Hirider trade hit its huge SL. Pretty hard to stay enthusiastic here.

I'm going to have to start running FAPTurbo or something else terrible just to get some winners!

I see Fusion continues to impress. LOL

Should be called Fission.
Blowing Up. Releasing Radiation. DNA mutating. How Horrific.

Brace yourselves for the second wave of refund requests.

AlpariUK has 'as long as you trade' accounts - That's why so many developer demo's use them.
It ain't easy being Cheesy!

Yeah, that's the reason why they started recently to remove the older trade history, unfortunately

I'm glad folks are getting refunds that seek them!
- It would not have been good were these not honored.

For those still in - stumbled on this on one of my demo accounts - it was an experiment with Fusion V 1.21 kicked off on the 15th ( ignore first 5 trades on 15th from previous test in the account)

This was per option 1 advice to Irbis Mar 17th.

Rather interesting to see theory in motion ;-)

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again !

Not recommending folks abort on refunds - it's too early to draw conclusions here !

Looks like Plimus will be handling my refund as the vendor is not responding to my requests. This also appears to mean that I won't even need to provide trading history. I have to admit I was interested to see what they were doing but after seeing them in action and watching the trades myself... all I can say is wow they are bad.

I have to wonder how many people actually bought the robots, and how many plan on actually keeping them. From what I have been reading everyone is having similar results and the fact that they removed the account that blew out was the nail in the coffin for me. Transparency my ass....

Sooner

I agree, transparency is key to something like this as it was originally billed, clever marketing, and a cover up when it blew up in their face, rather than scientific if you ask me. Highly disappointing approach by FRWC.

If you are to believe their website and say 65K views on the video for Royal trader and assume a 1% take up rate, you are at 650 buyers by my guestimate.

Lorak this looks interesting. is there any chance you can set this up in MyFxBook so we can take a look at the trades it's taking? I still don't think that it's going to change my position on the software, they've dropped too many balls in my opinion for me to trust them, however it would be good to see how the new version performs so much better than the old.

Steve

I'll need to figure out how to do that but if somebody can fasttrack me with instructions I'll do it today. All my current demo's run on my own HW with FXCM demo accounts, no VPS. I assume I just need a fresh demo and somehow in MyFXBook I point it to the account with Username & Investor Password ?

Please Note - This IS NOT the new version of HiRider (HiRider Advanced), it's a settings modified version of Fusion V 1.21

HiRider Advanced is still sucking wind on my demo for that :-(

Any specific $Deposit / Leverage settings you guys want it modeled on ?

Are we OK with FXCM as the broker ?

Anything else ?

Do we want to run this and with the same account settings to confirm my theory that they modified more that just the disablement of S1 ?

Let me know

Hi Lorak,
The instructions on how to add an account are here and they're pretty good. Let me know if you get stuck on any specifics. If you want to split out by strategy like I've done you'll have to use the MyFxBook EA.

Refund received, never did hear from the vendor and Plimus just sent me confirmation. It sounds like this may be the end of FRWC.

I doubt that. Even at $999, many will let the deadline go by. And if enough people get one there will be another open enrollment for those who don't have the sense to look for these types of forums. It's not easy to find independent, ubiased info on any robot. So called review sites are just affiliate marketing techniques.

Hi sooner,

Can you let me know what you did to get your refund? Did you mail [email protected] ? Did you have to provide trading statements?

Thanks.
