Hi folks,

There are several things that bother me

1º) Why the oficial acount of revpro, this one, has 3 trades opened right now, while mine and some others closed them yesterday.

2º) It seems it is not posible to backtest the ea at mt4.

3º) Dough Price dont seem very interested in answering questions and supporting people that bought his ea.

I see that the ea is working on these premises: entry point is the high or low, filtered with the 80/20 stocastic oscilator level, following the daily trend (down or high) and did a manual back test of these conditions for the last 5 years. The last year, 2014 was wonderful, but the other 4 were depressing. Obviously, I have done it manually and did not take all my time, but Dough should answer these questions.....and I keep asking them to him, but he does not seem very interested,

I agree there should be more attention to the thread here from the developer.

I also have three trades open and I think its because we got the signal twice. First time was good and it took a profit on two trades and then proceeded to open three more trades in AUDUSD.

We all have different broker feeds which would make the indicators come up with different results.....thats the reason why we have slightly different trades.....

As I have said a few times on this forum - WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TWEAK THE TP and SL? I've noticed the entries with this EA are very good. The only thing I suspect needs to change is the fixed TP and SL settings because it may be that in the future those settings are just too ambitious so they may need to be reduced. Or it may be that they are too low so they may need to be increased. The entry is just as important as the exit and I think the entry is ok for the moment. I don't know what others opinions are on this or even Doug's view. I'd appreciate his view too.

How is this EA treating the SL? Will it close the position once it reaches the SL in pips? Or is it working with basket trading?

@revtraderpro hi vendor, these audusd what do you think? keep opening the weekend or let's close before the market closed 30mins?

we hope you give us advice or just send e-mail to all clients.

If it keeps going the way it's going I will most likely let it close for weekend.

It's not easy to spend all day on here. I do my best to check in from time to time.

1) different price feeds.
2) It's very slow.

We are on v2.5 ... updates have improved it overtime so backtest a year ago may not be same as today... BUT more importantly the robot continues to work and do well... Please stop posting this dribble, this has been discussed multiple times already.

'All things considered' (as they say...). Quite in-depth analysis - a lot of effort was put into that. But as always, results will vary depending upon many factors, especially broker's feed, systems used (servers, latency), etc.

Doug told me that latest version is needed, and my thoughts further is that Walk-Forward-Analysis is in order (i.e., optruns in sections of past followed by 'walk forward' test......there is such a software that controls mt4 to do this, but strangely, its only now available as trial.....anyone know why? Not compatible with v600+'s? Oh well, so doing manually is possible, except doing this HUGE project within 60 day guarantee most likely not possible.)

And why do you not want to backtest v2.5? I really can buy it if you proof another point.

I already posted that the EA had a DD of 40% just on AUDUSD trading 3 orders at 3% risk.

If you set more than 3%, it would be more.

Question is we don't know when the other pairs will go into DD together, and that would blow the account.

The CHF event proved the point. So you have to decide if you want to set the risk more than 3% and trade 3 orders.

Good luck.

Week 2 results for REV Trader Pro(FXCM and VPS):

- Total of 397 pips profit
- 10 trades/8 winners/2 losers (80% win percentage)
- I did not manually manipulate any trades

This EA is working exactly as it is designed and configured to do. I just do not get why some people are manually manipulating trades, it is a robot, it is meant to be left alone to do its thing. If you want to manual trade this robot, do not complain about its performance. I can see why Mr. Price is getting short with some of those on the thread, if your not following the configuration guidelines or running it properly, you should keep your comment to yourselves.... IMO

RTP now has the best setup for currently market behavior. Each year the market has more or less movement if you can remember, different FED's chairman like Bernanke and Yellen.... QE ... OIL PRICE ... as a trader we have to learn the market then fine tune the system.

In my opinion, the backtest more than a year or two cannot justify the performance of the EA.

I hope Mr.Price will keep continue update his EA for us when the game has changed.

cheers.😂

You sound like a real doughball with absolutely no sense whatsoever. Do yourself a favour and don't spend your lifetime savings on this EA. We really don't want another idiot messaging because he lost 1 trade which because you are greedy you will take excessive risks and blow your account up and then blame the EA and come back here to criticise it.
