also all payments within the RedRhinoFX store are via Bitcoin. An anonymous payment system that doesn't require any personal information😀. The only information needed is an email address for product delivery and you can use a temporary email address for that case.

So I can leave the field on the order page for personal address, tel numbers and other info EMPTY (or place a dummy info) as long as the email address is correct, am I right?

The reason why I need to ask this is because the order page is NOT encrypted.

But as long as the email is correct for sending download link for the software after payment. That's all you need.

It doesn't matter if the platform is MT4 or MT5 for REP, right? ... and REPBT works only for back testing? ...

@Atlantea Yes, 1 License includes 1 demo and 1 Real.
@fxdad REP BT is only for backtesting., It won't initiate for live trading since its free. Only for MT4. Yes, just add some dummy info ( sorry I haven't found a way to remove this default info within the shopping cart) with valid email address to get the password.

@mashahid - Includes setfiles and instruction manual for the Real License. The Backtesting version includes the "HOW TO" within the shopping cart. Your comments can't be removed since this is a public forum. Best to cool down and read over the information before going public with your comments.

Frank, I added the EX4 to the experts folder but I don't see it under in the list of experts once FX Choice MT4 is started. Any idea why that happens?

Open metaeditor to find the correct metaquotes directory then put rep.ex4 inside mql4/experts folder . Place rrfxrev.mq5 into mql4/include folder and rev indicator in mql4/indicators folder.

Then restart mt4.

Thanks Frank, it worked. BT ran fine. Tested it on EU H1 from 01/2014 to 03/2015. It made close to 50% profit with a Relative drawdown of 27.06%. Modelling quality was 55.60%.

I got a bunch of "OrderModify error 130" and ""OrderModify error 1" errors though.

http://book.mql4.com/appendix/errors - ERR_NO_RESULT 1 = no error. And 130 is common since every broker has their own Stoplevel value and I design EA's for ECN brokers. No one should be should be using market makers in 2015.

When I reverse engineered Rev Trader Pro my focus was to produce a similar result to RTP BT - http://www.myfxbook.com/strategies/revtraderpro-eurusd-cp/76349

and when I was complete I had better results with my version RevEnginePro -

The final result was less drawdown and more profits. You can do a custom analysis( Change the start and end date to the data that you backtested on) my EURUSD backtest to compare to yours.

Backtesting is only as good as your data! I started to backtest on 3 data sources ( 3 MT4 platforms ) for this reason to see the variations in the results. I would start here because this data has less data holes than most sources -

fxdd - metaquotes - alpari are all terrible data sources with many missing bars.

another question. how many orders of the same pairs will keep opening together?(the rev is default=1 but recommended
max 3 order),what about revEnginePro?

Open an offline chart (M1) and use the attached script ( drag and drop ) on to the chart, this will tell you what data bars are missing from your history. You will get the results of the script in the Experts Tab ( Messages). such as

2015.02.16 05:01:38.467 sqCheckHistoryGapsScript EURUSDi,H1: EURUSDi/H1 Total: 52 missing bars / 2116 total bars = 2.0% missing bars

@goode The 0.12 was a portion of the 5.00 lot position which closed before the 4.88 lots. Maybe the slippage setting needs to be turned up. I didn't think FXopen ECN demo feed can give accurate market depth but seeing these smaller portions being closed out could explain it.

The amount of orders is up to you. It is adjustable on the fly. I like 2-3 because this will average your entry price and allow the basket to close out at a profit. Its a feature that separates REP from RTP and proves to be much more profitable with handling the orders.

Even though REP follows the Daily trend, there are times when the market can rally against for a few days before the Trend filter can adjust to the change in the trend. This can of course be changed to follow the short term trend by changing the MA timeFrame Setting.

When GBPJPY started to rally I increased the Orders to 5 , accepted the drawdown and waited patiently for the basket to close out.

I wouldn't use a setting of 1 unless you optimize the SL and TP settings and disable"LockInProfit" because without the 2nd or 3rd order you will need a good RR ratio to make money in the long run.

By enablings more than 1 order, we get many successful signals that would have been a Stopout if only using 1 order.

now the only problem it's that solve your 0-1S orders probolem.

still observe your result.

by the way some pairs (expairs eu,gu,uj,au etc. ) is easy to run *** pips and the price not come back. i don't know you how to deal tham.
