Euro Area Government Debt to GDP
In general, investors analyze a country's government debt as a percentage of its GDP to assess the country's ability to make future debt payments, which has an impact on the country's borrowing costs and bond yields.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.
