France Balance of Trade
As a result of the progressive deterioration of its export-oriented industry, the appreciation of the euro, and the country's rising reliance on imported energy and manufactured goods Since 2004, France has been running trade deficits. Trade deficits with China and Hong Kong, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and Belgium were the largest in 2017, while trade surpluses with the Middle East, the United Kingdom, Africa, and Switzerland were the largest in 2017.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.

German Exports Rebound; Industrial Orders Data Disappoint

Eurozone Sentix Investor Confidence Rises For 7 Straight Months
Eurozone investor confidence improved for the seventh straight month in May to hit the highest level since February 2022 as both current situation and expectations rose in small but steady steps, a closely watched survey showed on Monday.
