Services in France are the most important category in the country's Consumer Price Index (48% of total weight), followed by actual rentals and services for homes (7%), health services (6%), transportation (3%), and communication (2%). Among the other categories on the index are: manufactured goods (26%), which include items such as medical products (4%) and apparel and footwear (4%); food (16%); energy (8%), which includes items such as petroleum products (4%); and tobacco (2%).
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.

German Exports Rebound; Industrial Orders Data Disappoint

Eurozone Sentix Investor Confidence Rises For 7 Straight Months
Eurozone investor confidence improved for the seventh straight month in May to hit the highest level since February 2022 as both current situation and expectations rose in small but steady steps, a closely watched survey showed on Monday.
