Greece Inflation Rate YoY
Among the most significant categories in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Greece are: food and non-alcoholic beverages (17% of total weight), transportation (13%), housing (12%), and hotels, cafes, and restaurants (11% of total weight). Aside from these, the index includes clothing and footwear (9%), health (7%), furniture and houseware (7%), entertainment and culture (5%), and communication (5%). The remaining 14% of the overall weight includes alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and other commodities and services.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.

Eurozone Industrial Production Recovers In July
Eurozone industrial production recovered at a moderate pace in July due to the rebound in consumer and capital goods output despite tariff threats, official data showed Tuesday. Industrial production registered a monthly growth of 0.3 percent, in contrast to the 0.6 percent decrease in June, Eurostat reported. However, the rate was slightly weaker than the forecast of 0.4 percent.

German Economic Sentiment Rises In September
German economic confidence improved in September but financial market experts remained cautiously optimistic, a monthly survey conducted by the think tank ZEW showed on Tuesday. The ZEW indicator of economic confidence rose unexpectedly to 37.3 in September from 34.7 in the previous month. The score was expected to fall to 27.3.
