Portugal PPI YoY
Industrial Production Price Index (IPPI) in Portugal is intended to indicate the monthly evolution of transaction prices in economic activities for both the domestic and international markets. The indices are derived from the Survey on Prices in the Production of Industrial Products, which is carried out in electronic form with firms working throughout the country, with a particular emphasis on extractive, manufacturing, and electricity, gas, and water industries. Every month, around 10123 prices are collected. In terms of producer prices, intermediate products are the most important area, accounting for 36% of the total PPI. Consumer goods (31%) are the second-largest segment, followed by energy (20%) and capital goods (12%).
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.

German Industrial Production Declines In March
Germany's industrial production declined for the first time in three months in March driven by the decreases in consumer and intermediate goods output, official data revealed Wednesday. Industrial production declined 0.4 percent on a monthly basis, in contrast to the 1.7 percent increase in February, Destatis reported.

Eurozone Private Sector Growth Accelerates In April
The euro area private sector growth accelerated to an 11-month high in April driven by the service sector, final survey results from S&P Global showed on Monday. The HCOB composite output index rose to 51.7 in April from 50.3 in the previous month. The flash estimate was 51.4.
