Passionate investor drawn to forex due to the global nature, liquidity and my interest in economics. I'll admit, early on I was also attracted to Forex due to the high leverage but that is not a factor now with disciplined risk management :)
Trading style
I have three primary systems:
1. 10% Fundamental Long Term View. Basically, this is a subjective perspective on the economic markets and strength/weakness of a currency pair. I trade this fundamental account mainly for because of my interest in current events globally.
2. 70% Developed a semi-automated Expert Advisor over the past several years that I'm happy with. It is basically a trend following system similar to grid based systems (but removes some of the negative elements of a grid system). So lots of smaller losses with larger gains on breakouts. I spent over a year perfecting this system to my trading style.
3. 20% I'm a strong advocate of test & control. This is my test EA account where I work on various other types of EA's suited to my trading style and try to beat my control. The trading style varies but tends to again be longer term as opposed to intraday scalping type systems which don't suit me.
