Founded in China in 2007, the sigma team at Golden Sigma utilizes a portfolio of strategies through manual trading signals. The trading philosophy is built upon a lower leverage and constrained drawdown model. The trading techniques include breakout, scalping, and swing. The strategy trades the EUR/USD, GBP/USD, EUR/GBP, EUR/CAD, USD/CAD, USD/CHF, AUD/USD, AUD/NZD, CAD/CAF and NZD/USD pairs. Stop loss and take profit values are determined when entering a position. Portfolio drawdowns are in the 10% range and, per position, at approximately 0.5% drawdown potential. Losing positions are not added in attempt for recovery. The strategies do not use martingale or grid-based tactics. The majority of the positions are held for 2-4 days, with some trades lasting up to 20 days. The sigma team is comprised of 4 traders. The lead trader has over 5 years of Forex trading experience. The team manages money for a number of investors and is based out of China.
