I have many years experience unsuccessfully trading stocks and forex. Since march of 2013, I finally put it all together and have been consistently successful. Applying a proper money management system was harder to learn than learning a market edge. Getting passed my own issues was the biggest hurdle. I am an open book and don't pretend to have never made mistakes. I could write a book on trading mistakes as I feel I have made them all. However, in the end, because I learned from those mistakes, I was able to graduate out of the famous 90% of failed traders into the successful 10% category of traders. I am here to be transparent with my account so my successful claims will validated and not just another person boasting to be a successful trader with no proof.
Trading style
The forex markets change all the time throughout the year. There isn't a one size fits all plan. Adaptation is a key ingredient next to risk management. I do not scalp. I only execute 5 to 10 trades per month. I always use a stop loss and set the risk for each trade at a responsible 1% of the account balance. I do not use an EA. I use tools that define my system clearly so there is never any judgement call. I enter the market manually using market orders. I do not aim to trade during volatile news events. I have only 1 trade open at 1 time. There's no get rich quick system that will work in every type of market we go through. I am like the turtle, slow and steady and in the end, I will win the race.
