(RTTNews) - At 8.00 am ET Thursday, German flash inflation data for September has been released. After the data, the euro dropped against its major counterparts.

The euro was trading at 157.37 against the yen, 1.0540 against the greenback, 0.8632 against the pound and 0.9679 against the franc around 8.05 am ET.
