Franc Climbs After SNB Decision

(RTTNews) - As expected, the Swiss National Bank raised its policy rate by 50 basis points to 1.5 percent. The franc advanced against its major counterparts after the decision.
The franc was trading at 143.57 against the yen, 0.9944 against the euro, 1.1243 against the pound and 0.9125 against the greenback around 4:35 am ET.
