Pound Steady Ahead Of BoE Decision
(RTTNews) - The monetary policy decision from the Bank of England is due at 7.00 am ET Thursday. The BoE is set to raise the benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points to 4.50 percent.
Ahead of the decision, the pound was steady against its major counterparts.
The pound was worth 169.21 against the yen, 1.2576 against the greenback, 0.8685 against the euro and 1.1245 against the franc at 6:55 am ET.
