Just got TP out of my oil long, entry was 93.23, TP was 93.73 @ 50 pips, would have held a small piece or a run to the cental pivot point for the day but didn't grab it in time. Ready for NYMEX open.

Perhaps, on the 4hr and hourly, yet the daily is still bullish. But as we are not breaking 100 yet, I'm beginning to feel like a big bad BEAR that will play with the bulls at the appropriate levels.

I have a few suggestions... Make sure to markup ALL daily support and resistance levels, a daily 21 EMA is also helpful and the 'big boys' use it, today's bounce happened right off of it.I would suggest the following to mitigate if a reversal/or retracement is happening1) A 1Minute break of the 21 EMA or HL off major support level is essentially a change of 'trend'2) 5 Minute and 15Minute price action candles. Check out today's bounce off the weekly central pivot point/daily 21EMA. The 5 minute candle made a perfect doji. The 15minute was an engulfer. But that level get...

You found a broker that lets you trade Micro's on Oil? Is that a mini contract? Where you trading that at? I've only been able to find 0.10 as the minimum bid size. I found one broker with a mini contract but it was hosed up.

If there is serious momentum I may preempt a candle, but by and large it's really not a LH or HL without the close, so that's my favor. One thing I do, especially when it's not seriously trending is good, at 25 pips take half off and let the other run.. you can always scale back in if it gets trending. Right now it's messy for sure!

All the same, I can make it a naked chart and trade it, you'd just have to use support and resistance levels. I look at a lot of things and the best overlap is usually the best triggers. Price basically hit the weekly S1 pivot point to the pip and now is in the middle of the trading range. NYMEX volatility from now till 2:30 (2-2:30 the most volatility) should push price around 95.35, IF price can break above 95.05 (Having issues). Many times around 2PM you can look for a price action signal and take a nice 20-50 pip scalp.

Here is a breakdown of the trade:* Long at support, 15m Change of trend at support level on daily. Did not quite touch weekly S1, but hit daily M1 pivot at 9am (Oil Market opening)* Stop set to BE now, looking for an initial target of 95.50, and a final target of the weekly central pivot point.Charts: Left (15m), Middle (Hourly with daily pivots), Right (4hr with weekly pivots). I use the daily chart as the guide typically though, so it's to the left of the one I flip out the 5m and 1m for more precise entries, exits sometimes.

Obviously the bounce off Daily M1, 50% of the up move on the 4hr chart and 8am in Chicago (9am NY) the Oil big boys are now in. 15m Bullish engulfer, hourly pin bar. Good enough to get BE here and hope the stock market at 9:30AM doesn't take turn it back to the down side.

Depends on time of day and price action for me. So if we slam down there hard, I'd be looking for a confirmation trade after a pullback fib for a long (HL). If we put down there, getting aroun volatility coming in, a 1m setup PA/green off that level with a short stop is an option. Depends on the time of day and what minor S/R the London market produces.So far price isn't moving much, but any first attempt at the CPP deserve a short using the same parameters, as well as 15m Pinbars.

Gap basically filled now. Asia market in 1.5 hours. Bulls:I got a 94.50 Buy zone with some PA off that previous daily res and also a 50% of the upmove fib.Bears: A retracement back to the daily 21 EMA which overlaps with the daily central pivot point at 97.10 is a red area I have. Before that however is the weekly pivot at 96.74. So the zone is 96.70 - 97.35, looking for some Price action there with Time of day being utilized, and looking for change of trends within the 15minute on market opens. Mondays are Mondays, best to take your pips instead of try and scale.. basically a scalper day, eve...

My, how silly this conversation has really became. I did not show the broker on any account visible simply because I saw no purpose, really I did not see as "clearly" into the situation as you apparently can. I did not do it deceive anyone, and of course any potential investor or worthwhile person (not including yourself, and no we can't be friends on Facebook) can just simply ask the question.
