It depends on your trading balance. if you have sufficient balance , then you can make profit very rapidly by using high leverage. But if not, it is better to trade with small leverage for avoiding risk.

Very few traders are exceptional in money management and so they perform exceedingly well than others even when similar trading strategy is used.

I really want to trade with Exotic pairs but it seems the spreads of them is unthinkable high, it is range from 4-30 pips. If only the spread is lower I will do it , but right now I still prefer EUR/USD and GBP/USD or JPY/USD which have better spreads it is usually less than 3 pips.

With real trading plan including exact risk managing plan it is obviously possible to make profit very quickly by using high leverage despite of having small balance. on the other hand , in spite of sufficient trading balance that’s not possible to ensure profit by leverage , if you don’t know how to manage risk.

Novice traders should focus on technical and fundamental analysis rather than trading indicators! Technical analysis doesn’t mean only indicator based trading! By the way, in order to my personal trading experience EMA is the most useful default trading indicator! Here I use mainly news analysis but till now I use EMA100 into my live trading chart! It indicates me good swing points of market!

As a newcomer I think major pair is more appropriate for me, I opened my demo with only EUR/USD and USD/JPy! But at present I am active on CFDs, Indices and Metals! In addition, till now I am working on 3 more trading instruments to add my live trading chart! Yes we the traders who are particularly newbiw have to avoid the pairs which most volatile as like Silver and Gols.
