To answer the question "scalping is risky ? " - YES it is very risky. Probably the riskiest of all types of Forex trading. But all Forex is risky and as they say no risk, no reward

That is true but it is good to have an idea of roughly how long it will take on demo before profitability is reached. I expect it is more than 6 months but it will vary by trader and market conditions

There is no one single thing that is more important than other when trading Forex. You need to get it all right in order to make money. Get one thing wrong and you will be the 90% who are losers. This is why it is so difficult

So many loser because there is so much bad knowledge our there. New trader do are not taught properly and so cannot make profit doing wrong strategy

The harm and benefit of leverage all depends on how you manage it. I have used 1:1000 leverage quite happily because I have managed my positions well. But other trade may loose all money on 1:200 or lower

Times of low volatility can be difficult to trade as well. Price movements can be erratic and spreads large. Newbie should stick to busier sessions

Is anyone still trading BTC? Seem like it was yesterdays news to me. Price movement is mainly dead and then burst up or down. You can't trade that for profit consistently

I read loads of books when I started but they all seemed to cover the same basic things and told me about support and resistance over and over again and double tops, fibs. That kind of stuff. But they all missed the final critical element of how you can actually use these tools to trade

swing trading is the only type of trading that I have found to work. I was on the M15 then hourly and just had loss after loss then I tried the exact SAME strategies on the daily and they work. I've made small but steady profits. Going swing trading was the best thing I ever did
