I guess that the performance of the FGB doesn't depend on the elections in Greece.This robot has a good performance when the quotes have a defined trend in the H1 chart but it has a very bad behavior when the quotes start a period of high volatility in the M15 chart. Furthermore, most of the trades began with gains, but due to this robot waits too much before closing his positions by waiting for a trend, those positions were finally closed with losses.

I know that if we modify parameters that come by default, we should improve the performance of the FGB in those moments when it starts with a losing streak, but I can't recognize in the graphics where are those critical moments.I have browsed the historic charts of the EUR/USD , and I couldn't find the pattern in wich it is necessary making the changes in the settings.I suspect that the developer of the FGB also couldn't; otherwise he had improved it in a new version of the robot.

Since the last trade (29-05-2012), the EUR/USD fell more than 170 pips, and the robot has done nothing because the volatility has not reached the level to activate it.Big pity not have took advantage of that big movement.I think that this robot has much to be improved yet...

I have made a backtest of the FGB with the MT4 of the broker FxOpen but the results went so different up to point that in the same period, the backtest made with ThinkForex gave me more than 1000 dollars of profit and the backtest with FxOpen gave me near of 500 dollars of losses. I would like to know if to somebody else has happened the same.The test period was from 2011-11-02 to 2012-05-04 with the default settings. Thank you to whom respond me.

Is a mystery for me the reasons by which one EA work better on one pair and not on other. I watch the differents charts and I don't see nothing particularly to make a graph working a robot well and other graph working the same robot wrong. All the graphics have the same: supports , resistances, fibonacci retracements, breakouts impulses, bearish and bullish trends. Someone can explain me why this robot might working good on the EUR/USD but not over the rest of the pairs? Regards, Beto

I have my demo account running in the broker "Think Forex" (the same that have this account of the FGB owner) but this broker (Think Forex) doesn't accept funds wired from the U.S. (I much would like know why) . I have noticed that when I turn off PC, if the FGB has open positions, the MT4 loses the control over these positions. This has happened to somebody of you? Somebody know if this account is working on a VPS? and the last question: if this account is working over a VPS, how does the owner of the account when the in the VPS cut their service? the positions are closing manually? What is the criteria that use the FGB for closing the positions? From some hours the price is in upward strenght , but the robot decided to close the trades instead of adding more positions...

My English es bad. May be that I am not using the correct words. If you have an EA that win only the 39% of the trades and loss the 61 % of them, you are not able to make large trades because if the first 10 o 15 trades result in losses your account can be easily blowed. But if you have an EA that make less trades but with an high reliability, your trades can be so large as 10 lots per trade and you can achieve a 1000 % in one month.In that project I am working, but because I am not a professional programmer, the thing goes very slow...

pianosso: don't give too much importance to the 1700 % performance. This number hasn't relevance because if you make work the EA with a leverage of 400:1 you might achieve much more than 1700 %. If you design a robot that make only one trade on the whole week, but has an accurate of 99% (win the 99% of the trades and only lost the 1 % of them) you can work with an account by using 400:1 of leverage by making trades of 10 lots and you will achieve this 1700 % but in only one month. This 1700 % means nothing. Believe me.

Again... losses. This EA always trades in the correct side of the market, but wait too much to take the profits, what allowing them to become it in losses. Once achieve that, the EA take the losses. Look the down trend in the 1 hour chart. Since the 2/29 the price doesn't do other thing that falling. And this EA had made only sales. The EA was right always, but despite it, only collected mostly losses(I hope my bad English be understand, my language is Spanish)

I don't know why the FGB shown in this page didn't do any trade since the 02-15-2012 My bot did one bought trade on friday, and closed it recently with a profit of +29 pips. I have it by working with its default settings in a demo account.

Why this robot wait so long for to take profits? most of the profitable trades finally closes with losses. I think that the developer of this robot would have to improve that defect.It is unacceptable to have so many trades starts being profitable but finally end being losers due to the bad strategy used by the developer to take profit.
