EUR/USD

EUR/USD was descending but encountered support at 1.2630 and bounced back a bit from it. Personally, I still think it will reach 1.2500 but it needs to break below the support at 1.2630 and it's uncertain whether that will happen right away or range will begin again.

EUR/USD could not break above the resistance level at 1.2840 despite spending days testing it and eventually started descending again, breaking below the support level at 1.2680. I think the next target is 1.2520.

EUR/USD has been testing the resistance level at 1.2840 for days now but it seems it cannot break above it. Still, there is no proper signal yet for a reversal and the situation remains unclear.

After that hanged man candlestick on the daily filter chart right under the resistance I expected EUR/USD would start dropping again, and it did, but not nearly as much as I suspected it would. Now there is a doji in the daily filter chart, perhaps signifying another reversal. That said, I think range contintues and I don't believe we will be able to tell whether EUR/USD will really start climbing again before it breaks above the resistance at 1.2840.

There is a hanging man candlestick in the EUR/USD daily filter, which is usually a signal for reversal. In combination with the resistance at 1.2840 - 1.2850, which is exactly where the hanging man candlestick is, I think EUR/USD will start descending again. That said, if it doesn't and breaks above the resistance at 1.2840, it will likely head for 1.2900.

The EUR/USD correction continues and it looks like it really might reach 1.2900 after it bounced back from the support level at 1.2700.

Not only did EUR/USD reach the target at 1.2850 but it broke above that level and reached 1.2887. At the moment I think it's a little too early to tell whether it will start descending again. On the other head, it might keep climbing until it reaches target 1.2950, but I think that might take a while.

EUR/USD range has continued for several days now and it looks like we might have to wait a bit more before it becomes clear whether it will start descending again or not. As I see it, it either has to break above the resistance at 1.2750 – 1.2760 so it can reach its target around 1.2850 or it has to break below the support at 1.2500 so it can continue its descent to the long-term target around 1.2000.

The market appears quite calm and the EUR/USD correction slowly continues. Personally, I think its current target is 1.2870, perhaps 1.2900. However, I am still not convinced that the downward trend is over and that this is a reversal, so I think I should be on the lookout for signals that the EUR/USD descent is about to continue. I believe that the long-term target at 1.2200 or even at 1.2000 is still quite valid.

EUR/USD did seem to be in a bullish correction but it also started heading down again. At this point I am not certain whether this is part of the correction or the bearish trend is continuing, or if this is an attempt to form a double bottom. I think we might have to wait for Monday for the situation to become clear.

It looks like correction has begun for EUR/USD - it's currently trading at 1.2740 with a likely target at 1.2800, perhaps even 1.2900 later on. The question is whether the bearish trend is exhausted and this is a reversal or not.

EUR/USD is still climbing slowly but currently the market is not at all volatile, because everyone are waiting for USD Fed to release the Minutes from the FOMC meeting – they should do so later today and then it will probably become obvious whether EUR/USD will break above the resistance at 1.2700 or it will start falling again, heading for 1.2500 (or even lower) again.

Some correction did begin for EUR/USD and it appears that the current target is 1.2710. There is a pretty strong resistance there, so once it reaches that level I will be on the lookout for any signals that it might start falling again.

After the big drop on Friday EUR/USD seems to be in for some pullback now - there's a doji candlestick in both the daily and the 4 hour filter charts and the prince has started climbing. I think the target is around 1.2590. That said, the trend is still bearish and once the pullback is over it will likely continue its descent with long-term target being at least 1.2000.

The non-farm payrolls certainly had an effect and EUR/USD fell another 70 pips today. The bearish trend shows no signs of exhaustion and if you look at the monthly filter chart the previous lows are at 1.2030 and 1.1870 so I wouldn't be surprised if it's headed for those targets, though I don't think it will happen any time soon.

Yes, EUR ECB's Mario Draghi will speak at the rate decision press conference later today and the non-farm payrolls are on Friday, so the market is expected to be pretty volatile for the rest of the week. We'll have to wait and see what the effect of these events will be

EUR/USD hit strong support at 1.2600 and we might see some pullback before it heads for 1.2500, especially considering that a double bottom seems to have formed in the one hour filter chart.

All things considered, I think we can conclude that the bearish EUR/USD trend isn't exhausted yet. It fell 90 pips for the past four hours alone and broke below 1.2600. Personally, I think the next target is 1.2500, although it might go even lower.

EUR/USD formed an inverted hammer candlestick in the four hour filter chart and headed up. Considering that there's also very strong support in the 1.2660-1.2700 zone, I think some correction is beginning with target 1.2730, perhaps even 1.2800.

There is indeed a hammer candlestick in the daily EUR/USD filter chart which suggests that there might be some pullback, not to mention the strong support at 1.2700. However I still think it will keep falling after the pullback is over.
