Which EA are you using?

something is not right with your ea.

You said forexei is only work with eurusd, but then in your myfxbook account you have several other pairs traded.
Plus, my friend, who have bought your ea, can´t just have any backtest that worth with it, in anytime in history!

How come you have those results? that is not forexei performance for sure.

it is very odd also that in your site, you dont show any proof of anything: even on backtests, you show hypotetical line graphs that you say it was your tests while tuning it, but that is not more than line drawn... you dont show any forward test, any backtest and not show any real live test.
On other hand, you have this account, with the name forexei, but is not the same of your ea (pherhaps it is manual or something, but not even close to that ea...) That seems cheating people to me with envious marketing.

Hi, averagejoe, our explanation is as follows:

1. The retail version of ForexEI only works with EURUSD at the moment. but this does not stop us from exploring and testing the possibility of trading on other currency pairs.

2. Our backtest is only upto Dec 2009 since our live real account forward test started in Nov 2009.

3. We do have backtest report available for downloading on our website.

4. Forward test = live test, therefore no forward demo test is shown.

5. We clarify that this account does not show the same performance of the current retail version of ForexEI EA since this account is a beta version of internal ForexEI EA for testing purpose as well. Beta version of ForexEI is adjusted everyday (in some sense equivalent to manual trading, however automatically triggered).

6. ForexEI is still in testing phase and we welcome feedbacks from traders around the world. No marketing has done so far to promote this product except for Ebay and myfxbook.com.

We are sorry if the purpose of this account is miss understood. This result is authentic and we have no intent to cheat people with this account. We hope this thread clarifies. Should the circumstance of this product be changed, further notification will be posted here and on our website.

ForexEI is kinda stupid, equity is currently at ~35%. That fact is hard to accept for any serious trader.

46% of 290% gain is still a Profitable system. whether we would use it on our capital, well that depends on how much risk capital we have. Its with Gomarkets and not some unknown broker, so Thumbs up! Your making money.

Amazing -1036 negative pips in May, but YET only loss 11% of balance.
Again the system making the break record of ROI 179% on MAY.

I see that your video show 2 strategy of trading on certain trade hours time only.

 1 - 'Fake Breakout Retrieval'

 2 - 'The Thrust'

So do you use only these 2 strategy testing on all pairs ?

Do you add Martingale Management too ? Hardly to imagine with -1036 pips yet you still able to pull back with minimum lose.

It is very strange. My friend had bought a copy and the results and the strategy used is completly different from what s showing here...

What is show here is not what you will get in EA.

Here is just a test lab of many kind of currency and manually adjust time to time to ensure profit.

Sort like Managing account where you got professional team to look after your account and doing all kind of lab test.

We have more than 13 strategies now, not every strategies is operating every month, and not every strategy is suitable for all pairs. We adjust parameters of each strategy or turn on/off certain strategy each month to keep up with the market condition. That is, the performance of our EA purely depends on the accuracy of our monthly prediction. The 2 strategies available on our website are just demostrations. This myfxbook account is for testing our own research and development. At the same time, illustrating the ideal performance of our programmed strategy so people can trust our trading skills and experience.

Strickly speaking, Martingale is applied cautiously to some degree. However, we do not prefer that unless the current position is in losing position and the market is definitely going the opposite way rapidly, then we gradually discharge the losing position when the price adjusts itself after that surge.

No matter the lose is -10 pips or -1036 pips, the % of risk is almost the same. Comprehensive money management is programed in the EA.
