Can anybody comment further on this hard trailing? How about you Professor53, how do you run hard trailing, true or false?

My small live profitable account with MDP : IBFX investor view, 6030226, Mini 4 server, password is Dusty53, Make note that the D is a capital letter. I will be making occasional deposits to this account in addition to the MDP growth. Most settings are default except for FIFO is true because Im in the USA and risk is default at 1.5%. I have 2 live account trading MDP and have set up a 3rd. Next month I will add a 4th. ( for different family members) I have turned off all my other EA's. These accounts are run on a VPS. A home pc just doesnt work for me to make profits. IBFX makes only about half the trades as the main MDP page with thinkfx. But IM very happy. THese are my secrets to winning with MDP. All you have to do now is test and select a cost effective but fast and reliable VPS. ( my VPS is a secret) . Id like to live test finfx in the future with my setup.

Thanks for the Investor view of your IBFX account. I too am in the US, and will be using IBFX for MDP. Do the live accounts have to be Mini accounts, or do you have Standard accts that this is working with? I set up a demo on a Standard acct tonight.

When I had it activated, MDP continued to try and use stop orders and FXOpen kept rejecting it. That is why i recommend set to false.

It is true that currently FXOpen sucks to use MDP on. I have found a way around their incredibly slow servers. And again....currently I am not revealing how I am getting around the problem. I recommend staying far away from FXOpen as they do manipulate the orders to fail....or try to.

And again....I shut off the hard trailing because MDP still used stop orders when i had it on and therefore FXOpen kept rejecting the orders.

Also....MDP traded again today....and won again. I am still trying to get MDP to put this method into action.

i've survey live account server among, fxopen, gomarkets, ibfx from my vps, swvps. ibfx is the best one. same here, fxopen is suck, average above 250ms.

My acc made winning days last Friday and today. Initially I had mostly losses by I was eager to see it trading and went for agressive setup, but then on Thursday reverted to NO=1 setting.

I purchased this EA last week, I am located in the U.S. I placed this on my live IBFX account which is located on my U.S. based VPS. Latency was not very good, about 100 ms. So no surprise but the EA didn't open any trades even though others were getting trades filled. So I decided to open a HotForex account. After chatting with HotForex they told me that their European server is located in Amsterdam. So I googled some VPS providers in Amsterdam. I decided to go with HostPlate.com. Their server is located at EVOSwitch in Amsterdam. As a result I had eight trades opened today, all closed profitably. I think, like others have said, this EA has everything to do with your broker and VPS provider. Attached is a screenshot of ping and tracert from my HostPlate VPS to the HotForex European server.

That is correct and it wouldn't do you a bit of good if I did because I have several systems running at once that are a combination of EAs and manual trades. But in all honesty....please don't start using MDP. I would prefer that you didn't. The more people there are trading this system, the harder it is to get it to work properly.

Good move. If you had not made that change....there were trade signals that occurred which were losing signals....and your MDP would have taken them if you had not changed to a lower setting.

Out of curiosity....what are the slippage/timings on both accounts that MDP says? Also which account is the live and which account is the demo. I am referring as to the type...ECN, STP, standard market maker, or micro.

These answers may enable me to tell you how to make it trade profitably.

Just so you know, if you are getting an average time of 100ms, that is in the top 1% of all brokers. Chances are, something was not setup correctly in your old account. That said.....glad the new setup worked correctly. Hopefully it will continue to do so!

Just looked at your screenshot. The time you referred to in your post (100ms)was probably you ping time. A time of 100ms is the type of speed you would get from a home computer. Which is not that great. I thought you were referring to the speed timings that MDP would give....or similar EA.

Yep, sorry I met my ping time.
I just looked at the comments that MDP is posting on my chart window:
'Avg. exec. time: 985 ms Avg. open time: 1916 ms Avg. modify time: 826 ms Avg. Num. requotes: 0.03 per transaction Avg. Close Slip.: 0'

that's on a slowish side but it happens from time to time. I am experimenting with one idea currently. Need some good bunch of trades from MDP to see how it plays out..
