Food for thinking. This system(41799) was number 1 in the list of providers!

After trying for a few months I would say the probabilities you can actually make money are very close to zero.

Slippage+uptick on spread+crazy events+rogue traders or simply bad luck can really damage your account.

regarding signal providers I would continue to say the best are Lucky Pound (now back to the top of the list) and Scorpion.
Ninja entered a terrible period since August and Atlas is very unstable.
Apart from this you have night profit also attempting to recover from draw down and system whose pip expectancy is below the combined negative effect of slippage and spread uptick.
After trying several month I'm quite skeptical you can consistently make any profits by using AT.
yes you do have some pops and you account can go up 20% but rapidly all your profits evaporate and you end up loosing money.
I would like to see examples of people actually making money on the long run...

This is exactly what I am starting to think. I guess there is a constant flow of new people trying autotrade but no one is staying after several months. I would love someone to prove me wrong

Hi All

I'm really surprised to see comments like this.

I've auto-traded with Lucky Pound and with a combination of Lucky Pound and NinjaTrainer.

From August 2016 to the Present my results have been as follows:-

August 2016 +1.57%
September 2016 + 21.39%
October 2016 + 3.28%
November 2016 + 1.64%
December 2016 +15.43%
January 2017 - 4.34%
February 2017 +0.73%
March 2017 + 5.37%
April 2017 +2.66%
May 2017 -5%
July 2017 +26.33%
August 2017 + 31.2%
September 2017 - 4.58%
October 2017 -6.28%

Gain: 119.29%
Abs Gain: 65.32%

I didn't like the way things were going after NinjaTrainers recent trades / results, so I've switched back to Lucky Pound.

But you're all making me paranoid now. :-)

What I have noticed is a lot of people under-funding their accounts which makes it difficult to hold out during a run of losers.

This kind of trading is risky by it's very nature, sometimes the most difficult thing I've found is to do nothing, not to interfere.

Interested to hear any and all comments and others that are auto-trading with live accounts like myself.

I agree, unfortunately I tend to fund my account before a run of losers and then I under fund before a run of wins. I made the decision of not interfering anymore with funds. But I manually close all trades when a global profit target is reached.

Dear rlwallace.
I think your results are remarkable. However unless there bis a typo they can not be achieved with Ninja and Lucky pound!
lets consider the month of August 2017 for instance. You say you got +31.2%. However in this month lucky pound was +2.5% and Ninja was -11%..this is the original signal without slippage and missed trades and uptick. So I think it is mathematically impossible to have made 30% in August 2017. would you be kind enough to explain how it is possible you got +30% on a real account!!?
cheers

It is fantastic. The list of month left out was Jun 2017 therefore everything jumped. Haha. Cheers!

Excellent. Thanks for sharing. Indeed August was negative as I expected.
I guess I started investing on the worst possible timing....
However It is good to see someone with a long term track record that is well positive.
I also realize that you are doing active management since you have stopped Ninja now that is loosing almost every second trade...
You also escaped damages from new systems like Asia and this dreadful 41799 that just went totally bust.
Your draw-down of only 16% for a monthly return of about 5% (close to a ratio of 1:3) is very good job!

I check the performance daily - if a system I subscribed does 2-3 days continuus losses I just kick this system.
Every day I also check the performance of the 'kicked' systems that I used before and if they are on the winning street again I add them.

This minimizes long term losses quite a bit - sure its not fully failsafe but for me its an added layer of safty.

Do you recommend to copy TP/SL if using scorpion signal? Thank you.

@rlwallace144
It looks good until you see at the DD. Ratio of 1:3 is pretty bad, you have much better systems out there with more consistent performance. You could have made 2 or even 3x more during that period with the same DD...

@ahmadagbariya

I'm fairly sure autotrade will overwrite your adjustments as it's supposed to. Also, if you're modifying the trades that have been opened by your chosen provider, all you're doing is trading discretionally. If you're confident in your selected provider, you should let it run or....learn / trade yourself.

@kelix @chanelle2014

My understanding is that any form of Martingale system would not be allowed on as an autotrade provider.

@chanelle2014

Are you modifying your autotrade trades? If you are modifying the trades, you are trading discresionally.

I look at the provider, draw down, history and various other statistics, set my risk and let them run. Unless there is a cataclismic news event or glaringly obvious mistake, I let the trades run. If you are modifying the trades then you can't properly assess the potential to actually make money using autotrade; as you are effectively only trading components of the strategy and not the strategy as designed by the provider.

Anyone has experience with Turtle EUR? The negative drawdown is getting huge with big lot trade entered. Please advise. TQ
