'MDP was not made to assist people who are already rich.'
Why do you post such nonsense?

Are you seriously asking this question?? Okay....let me explain. MDP only works if you don't trade position sizes that are very large. If the position size is very large, you get slippage. Slippage kills MDP. I hope I don't have to explain this any further.

You are the ONLY person I have seen trading large lot sizes who is having success. What broker are you running on?

well... if you have a big account, you become a VIP for the broker.
lower spread, better performance... you fall into the high priority queue in their system.
when I read some information near every broker provides special spread etc for big accounts
so I will not be surprise if large account perform better than small ones.

That is a good point. I had not taken that into account.

Hmmmm....98 full lots....and a $9k win is the biggest win.....
$980/pip.......so that means your biggest MDP win ever is approx +10pips. That is not very good. If that was the avg win, then you would be doing good with MDP. So....out of curiosity, has MDP been profitable overall, just breaking even, or losing? I gotta ask because everyone with very large accounts has not generally had good results.

It all depends on how good you are in negotiating with a broker and ofcourse of the volumes you can trade regards your trade capital and the provided leverage.
I get an average 30% lower spread by trading at least 150 full lot per month. So far I traded more than 1200 full lots over the last couple of months.
Dont ask for the broker, it wouldnt help you for the above mentioned reasons.
The disatvantage of such agreement: I couldnt get rebates additionaly by opening account through one of the rebate providers...
So in the end even on a smaller account you can make a killing by getting good rebates.

I wrote : a TOTAL of 98 lots on this day.. if you would have ever traded live or at least watched mdp on demo you would not calculate as you did LOL. These have been truckloads of single trades/ positions that summed up in hundreds of green pips and 98 full lots.

Then that still supports my original statement. If you try to trade large lot sizes, it kills MDP. Heck if you had a busy trading day with MDP and it took 20 trades in a day (have had that happen before), and you were only trading 15 lots per trade, that would be a total of 300 full lots in a day. 15 lots is not considered a large position size.
Anyway, Happy Holidays to everyone!!😁

Well, I had one of those big lot days too, but it was a losing day as move was bad (EFSF 1 Tr rumour when most of us lost bad) and TF refused modifications of my bigger lots (5-9 full lots per position) resulted in delays and some of the trades hitting 20 pips stop loss.. I learned quite a bit that day and prevented it from happening again but I did not feel any good treatment for trading big. Same experience with Oanda and Alpari. You go bigger lots - you get delays, rejected modifications, etc.

MistiFx (and anyone else trading many standard lots on MDP),
I don't post often mainly because I am happy with MDP and my VPS setup ( I use professor53 btw).
My question is... as my account begins to grow, at what quantity of standard lots traded does MDP begin to waiver? For various reasons, MDP cannot run forever. There will come a time that limitations of the broker will override the capabilities of MDP.
I know your answers will vary depending on broker. If I am told that anything up to x standard lots is good, I will not worry about it until I get close to that level. Then when I do and my setup begins to waiver, I will just start lowering my risk to maintain a current lot size or just make daily withdrawals to keep my balance at that trading level and enjoy the spoils from that particular account. That would also be a time to think about opening up another account and let that one grow to that level.
My question and my thoughts.
Happy Holidays all,
Scott

Just keep looking on the trading and expert log for the errors, watch speed data too. If it's getting bad, open up more accounts at this and another brokers. Diversifying broker risk is always good. MF Global stands as an example and not the first one.

Anyone has an experience with Oddbot and Forex Combo EURO? Saw it at the Birt's site, looks good. As usual interested more in a strategy than a bot itself to reprogram for a private use on non-MT4.
