I've come to your statistics from FF forum. I'm having 2 questions if you find some time to respond:

* From your experience do u think it's still a good idea to play with EU/USD due to high volatility ? I mean the ups and downs are pretty wide and may leave u in high DD for pretty long time.
* Are you using the default settings with 6ths ?

This one is only on a demo account, so I use it as widely as possible, across even the most volatile pairs.

I do agree that the volatility on EURUSD has been a bit wild for a DD monster like The Beast, however I've not had any abnormal issues with it yet....time will tell I suppose!

I've actually taken The Beast off my live account for the moment, not because it was producing poor results (it was preforming exactly the same as the demo account), it's because I don't think the market generally is 'safe' for a strategy like this at the moment. To many huge fundamentals causing pairs to trend heavily. I'm trading with tight stop losses at the moment!

I've attached my .set file so you can have a look at the setting I'm using (remember to check through them first, and change lot size to your desired figure etc)

I've just realised, the set file attached to the above post is from my LIVE account. The one for my demo account is attached to this post. They are the same, only the lot sizes should be different.

i really appreciate for your assistance. I had a setup with a small real account from August up to October and it grew my account from 95E up to ~ 550 with 4 - 6 pairs without using the EURUSD / GBPUSD pairs.

Then i decided that it was performing poor for the DD I was getting, stopped it and used some soft martins. Well, it didn't go very well and now I'm back to 0.... starting all over again. :-)

I'm an FX newbie and testing mostly with mechanical trading. I believe so far that Beast is one of the most stable systems I've come across and the only one leaving me sleeping at night.

Right now I'm live testing again TOB (AUDCAD - EURGBP) and demoing the hanoverized version although I'm not really sure that the lasts works as it should .... (the values I get are 0).
