I felt I had to reply, because I feel some of these post above are created to try slander the broker's name. I have been using Fxchoice for 5 months. Live and demo.

Firstly you can sign up for a demo without signing up for a live account. I signed up another account earlier the week without a problem. ( not related the contest)

Secondly, I didn't received any email for any verification. I receive only one with my account information.

Most importantly if you've receive your login information and it works. What's the fret. Its a demo acocunt no work on your part.

Tons of winning for no reason.

The concern is that people (including me) don't want to send their personal information just to enter the contest.

Maybe they need to demonstrate a good-sized customer base for their financial backers? - hence the ID and addresses.

Same here, I already have a live account with a very reputable broker. I am not interested at all in supplying my personal details for a demo contest which wish to enter for fun, only to have sales reps sending me endless e-mails and phoning me all the time to try get me to open a live account. This is what will happen, so no thanks, NOT INTERRESTED!
Keep it simple, be disciplined, get rich slowly and above all protect your equity!

Nobody ask you to verify demo account. Verification necessary only for contest participants not for demo users.
Anyway less participant more chances to take a prize... and with verification game will be more transparent. There is $10 000 cash in prizes.
There is users who has several accounts with myfxbook, so in your opinion is it fair that somebody have more chances?

'The use of commercial robot is prohibited.'

As this is a contest and should be fair for all participants using their own strategies, we have also decided not to allow the use of commercial EA. Most commercial robots produce good results with automatic server execution as we will have during the contest. This environment is different from live therefore you can use only your own EA.

There will be no detection regarding commercial EA but we will judge by our experience as we have with most commercial robots.

I've uploaded both side of my ID card and both side of my card, which confirms my address (it contains my name and my address too). This card is the most official document in my country for this purpose. It is more official as the others they wanted to receive. BUT! They doesen't accept it, they need a further document from me. No way! The whole process was a bit strange for me, but it is already to much. I've to say a 'sad good-by' to this company for ever...

It was the same situation for me as well. I uploaded my bank statement but I censored the numbers in the document revealing only my name and address. However they refuse to accept it. So i send in another document which is a full page of a bank document where I opened an account with the bank.

STILL, rejected. He told me I would have to submit the bank statement and not just a bank letter..

I've activated and verified accounts with 3 different brokers using exactly the same documents but this is the first time I have ever faced this issue and to be honest, its annoying. I refuse to let any broker know the amount in my bank statement hence I remove that portion and show them only the address and the sender of the mail which is the bank. To bad this isn't sufficient for them.

lol, this is getting ridiculous ... sorry FX Choice, that policy is not my choice ... there are enough brokers out there doing way better with their clients obviously.
