apparently the spot has been taken over someone else. seems the top 10 guys aren't consistent.

most top guys once they lose the spot that's it there are never to be seen again 🙄. though am seeing another serious trader past the golden 2000% mark.
He can come back and easily be the winner.
If he wants it..... 😎
I'm sure he can do it again !

You don't need math at all.
Just look at a trader's account where you will see the actual number of Dollars > Ballance + Equity
Also look at Drawdown to see how close the trader was to blow up his account.

finally we got someone talking about drawdown. in real account, drawdown matter the most, not profit. it how trader manage their risk.

this is stupid. no guy can do 2000% profit without incredible risk. his drawdown must be huge

This is not stupid, but very natural for top traders to have a huge Drawdown !
Because this is a DEMO contest.
If someone wants to win a DEMO contest he MUST take a much higher risk compared to a Live account.
Only ONE trader in top 10 has a Drawdown lower than 40%
No surprise here !
Some were very close to bow their accounts and some of the former leaders did. Now they are closer to -100%.....

I have talked about drawdown even before the competition started. I even suggested drawdown be included in the selection criteria of a winner.

No.
Some past leaders made way more than that.... before it collapsed on them.
Last week Weinstein had 7100+% before Gold went against his short position.
Soon others will easily top 3000%.
