I can't close my trades. Too many requests. In Profit $10k then it closes me for a loss????

FXCM's platform is very unreliable. I had 4 trades in profit with stoplosses. None of the stoplosses triggered and when I tried to close the deals manually, I get 'Too many Requests'. I've tried several times now, but no luck. Very glad this is not REAL!!!

The candles are not even the same between this demo and Oanda. GBP/USD the past 20 minutes worth off candles are different. 20 pip difference at one point with Oanda going down and FXCM going up. For 10 minutes they were completely opposite. Is there a reason for this?
And I still can't close my trades. 10 min later and 25 min after news release.

my account has stopped working??? I cant buy or sell despite having 70k in the account?????? is it because the announcement drop and I lost substantial value??? if this is the case then it would have been great to know in the rules.. as what I seen as rule s was more elegibility not rules as such

I'm done with this contest... I may not have won but I may have been interested in moving to FXCMM seeing as how they have a much larger availability of pairs as well as other instruments to trade compared to my broker but I have to say, if this is their demo feed I would be absolutely terrified of their live feed.
So far I have, 3 times in two days, not been able to open an order before during and 30 minutes after a news trade. I've even set my slippage to 40 pips. FORTY PIP SLIPPAGE AND I STILL GET OFF QUOTES... AND ON A DEMO FEED. JESUS.. H.
yesterday it was USDCAD and USDCHF... and today GBPCAD
Not to mention, the difference in their quotes compared to my other broker? wow... I have taken screenshots and it's abysmal. It's quite apparent they're either manipulating their feed or their feed is not to be trusted. To be honest though, their feed compared to my brokers feed would have given me a better price BUT I COULDN'T OPEN A TRADE TO SAVE MY LIFE.
Not through my scripts nor through the market watch. FXCM, you are ridiculous at best and an absolute joke at worst if this is how even your demo feed, which across the board among brokers are notoriously 'deceptively' smooth in allowing executions just to give people that false sense of no slippage and instant execution, operates.

For 28 minutes now I have been unable to open or close any trades, regardless of currency pair. The server continuously responds with 'invalid prices' - what all of them?!!!!!
It may be a time of high volatility, yet I have been able to open and close on my live FXCM account - can you explain why please Jason?

Yesterday we got some bullshit from fxcm that the offquotes can be solved by making the deviation slightly bigger.
How do you explain not taking profit, the tp and not taking the sl (trailing stop) ?

It went through them and if i want to make 30$ for an order of 0.3 than that's how much i should get... It went down to +75$ but did not close, did not let me close it...did nothing.
Expecting alot of traders to close accounts and few to remain. In the last 10 min of the contest we'll see 2 new names on top taking position 1 and 2 and they will be accounts created by fxcm.

I have been given the opportunity to trade with maximum of 8 lots at a time but this account has started with 2000 lot size. what is this all about....?

I'm not sure what the reason was for FXCM to separate commissions as separate entries in trade log...
side effect of that is that for anyone using scripts/EAs with any kind of money management, in MQL4 OrderCommission() returns 0, obviously, so any logic/scripts dealing with money management etc needs to be rewritten.
This probably does not matter for this contest since most trade manually I assume, but in real account that would be a problem

These 3 accounts are in top 10 and easy to spot but who knows how many accounts have no withdraws while other accounts do pay that .
Since the contest started to current date i have 191 lots traded (in total) and have paid over 2000$ as withdrawals and big boys open 200 lots in one trade and pay nothing ?

You checked everything except their history😁 Man, they trade only on gold, and there's no commission on gold. So take it easy

That is the funny thing... Typically DEMO works flawless compared to live, but in this case FXCM demo is horrible, but there live works great. That makes 0 sense dude. First off, that's great that you can report that their live feed works fantastically. It does make me feel a bit better. However, if you're this whizbang pro trader that handles other peoples money as you say you do which, I have no reason to doubt at all, you'd be well aware of the fact that demo accounts aren't just for practice but a good 'dip your toe in the water' test for how a brokers feeds are. To say that people getting worked up over the errors in a demo feed is somehow proof that they don't have real money to trade is quite frankly absurd on so many levels.
