You can check fxview. Quite low spreads and have both MT4 & MT5 platforms.

A lot of brokers offer these platforms. You can also look into Acttrader for a change. Seems like a good platform.

I feel like acttrader is lacking quite lot in term of trading and accessibility, don't you think?

Well isn't that a little complex to use? I have researched a bit about this platform and found it a little confusing. What has been your experience using it?

Well, there are some very good platforms out there that you can explore for MT4, MT5. Try to go with some pure ECN brokers for a better platform experience.

ECN is good no doubt and regarding the platform it depends on the user. both the platforms are user friendly and with a good broker the spreads will be same in both the platforms.

I am a fan of MT4 and been using it on both my accounts, first with fxpro and now with hankotrade. Order filing is instant on both platforms.

I would suggest you Pepperstone, Hotforex and Fxview if you want to trade with an ECN broker that provided Metatrader 4 and Metatrader 5 platform.

Its funny how everyone has completely misunderstood the question. I believe the post asked what goes better with ECN account MT4 or MT5. To which I can suggest that it really doesn't matter whether you use MT4 or MT5 with an ECN account. If you are getting raw spreads starting from 0.0 pips both the platforms will provide you the same results. However the MT5 is quite advanced from mt4 and you get plenty of additional features like market depth, more indicators, more timeframes etc. So it completely depends upon the comfort of the trader, efficiency wise both will give you the same results.
The more your practice, the more you learn.

ECN is the right platform for trading. The spread of this platform is low.

It is all up to you. I prefer use the MT4 platform. I see more functionality there. And I'm already used to using only it. So this is up to me.
If you are a beginner, then try using MT5. It's easier to use.
