I'm learning this business the hard way and i hope it will pay some day!

I was virtually 'raped' in all possible ways by the market itself and also by the crooks that feed on what the market leave behind.

Every time i would get screwed by a scammer i couldn't help myself but think if this whole thing was not a big casino where my chances were no more than the role of a dice.

Well ! I still don't have a definitive answer but it seems that by the way things are going I have a shot 😁!

Thankfully I cannot say I was robbed by the market or anyone. I lost about $1000 and I have never paid for any webinar or course. But time wise I have spent thousand upon thousand of hours and I am quite sure it will pay off some day. The better I will be doing the earlier that day will arrive.

LOL! Cool you are from Felix's country!😁

Russia is 'kinda' like Brasil. Big country full of resources, nice people but the elite rich minority rules. I got tired of being a pown in this game so I came to america.

Yeah, but it was not always this way. It became like this after 1991. By Felix you mean Dmitri or Felix Dzerzhinsky (founder of KGB) 😉
I need to add that at least in Brazil you have got beautiful climate and sea. In Russia climate and weather can be pretty depressing and Napoleon did lose half of his army simply by walking Russian roads in summer... You got the point 😁

No ! I mean Felix Homogratus LOL, the guy I was referring on my post above. I googled him and it looks like his real name is Dmitri Chavkerov.

Well about Brazil's climate it is a matter open for debate. Hot countries are great for vacation, not to conduct day by day business. Especially when I was growing up. We didn't have AC back than!

Take as a example here in Florida. The best paying trade is AC technician because when your AC breaks you got to call somebody to fix it. there is no way you can live with out it.

In cold countries people tend to stay more inside, people have a tendency to think more when they are inside in the winter.

There is a reason why pretty much all under developed countries to be around the equator.

I used to live about 16 years in Soviet Central Asia just North of Afghanistan. It is pretty hot place with temperatures regularly +40C in shade and up to +50C in shade on the border with Afghanistan. So, I am pretty familiar with this kind of climate. The difference is mostly in humidity. Despite being hot that place is pretty arid and humidity is very low. It's much different from say Vietnam where the temperatures may be lower but humidity is huge.
Never had AC over there and thanks to buildings design and a lot of trees around it was always cool inside.
It is actually great in summer to lie on special platform in the garden and eat grapes.
we had a lot of grapes in our garden there and a lot of other fruit.
But it is admittance that heat actually makes people lazy 😁

Yep. Brazil is a very humid place, it rains a lot and it seems like a sauna most of the time.

Brazil is a place for vacation not for business.

And the problem is that we use to have humid winters also. Not that cold if you look at the thermometer but it is a kind of cold that penetrates inside your bones. On top of that we don't have heaters or fire places there. Pretty hard times I still remember.

No wonder Brazilian MMA fighters fight this hard.
From what I know Brazil is kind of taking off and is developing quickly, but doe majority profits from this or only small wealthy minority?

Unfortunately because of the low socioeconomic level in Brasil a lot of families don't have the level of education necessary to raise kids with proper manners, so at school you have a lot of trouble makers. they are not the majority but away over a acceptable level. So you have the kids that fight because they are the trouble makers and the kids that have to fight to protect themselves from the troublemakers.

In Brasil we start to fight on the streets very early. I was raised in a nice Christian family with good education but I cot myself fighting to protect myself from the troublemakers.

My brother was a heck of a fighter, i saw him several times knocking down guys twice his size on the streets. LOL I remember his idol was Bruce Lee 😁

Sounds familiar.
In Russia fighting always was a way of life. Bullying and beating up smaller weaker guys is common.
I generally never was bullied but had to fight quite often anyway even when helping friends as it is common in Russia to have disputations and each side bringing in all buddies.

Not a good day for me so far. My longs at 4240 and 4150 got hit ( -20) pips and i could not find another trade after that. The last trade was particularly painful be cause after taking my stops price took off. Well! Discipline is discipline and I have to stick with my SL.

Either by signal from my system or plain simple support resistance it seems that my charts are lying to me.

Looks like that I'm finishing the day for -40 pips and change 😕

Well it is not the first time and I'm sure it is not the last! Tomorrow is another day and I may be more successful.

That sucks. It looks like you were stopped just because of 1 or 2 pips. If you got that trade where i think you did, i can see that it started a rally where you could have pocketed around 70 pips potentially. That sucks but it's a trader life.. :-)

Yeah, the day was extremely choppy and volatile. Just as usually things went right way when I was away.

Indexes in a steep move down. I think the second leg down in this crisis is on the way.

I was watching S&P500. it was down. Very high volatility and bigger stops are required.

I have the miniDown chart always open Chikot because i plan to trade it in the future, and if you look at today's bar it is pretty scary!

Big red bar like that, ending down there with not much willing to retrace. Scary stuff! I bet some serious algorithms got triggered.

Thankfully i trade a day at the time and i don't need/care to figure out what comes next😁

With gold's steep up moves and equities tumbling i can't help myself but conclude that traders are bracing themselves for the worst.

The dollar safe haven scenario ( 2007 rush towards quality) will likely not happen again, at least in the same magnitude because of the downgrade. Ben Bernanke got his way on this one because with the dollar relatively low he does not need to easy as much.

At the end of the day people still realize that if America is bust the rest of the world will be even worst so it will keep the greenback in its 'orderly' devaluation path.

Now after everybody goes to gold, and when even the cashier at the supermarket will be selling it,the government will impose absurd taxes on it or even make it illegal ( this time silver will be illegal also) so the thing will crash like crazy. The big boys will be out of it and the small guy will pay the tab again, just like on the real state pump and dump.

Gosh! Do I sound like Bruce now? 😁

I was leaking my wounds and thinking about my losses today. What a shame the pair moved 270 plus pips and i managed not to get anything of it! On top of that I had one of the biggest losses in a while -40 pips, ouch!

Looking back and analyzing the charts I still don't see how i could have done it better😕!I played my game did my thing and it just did not work today.

The good news is that in days like this I use to make a killing or get bust really bad meaning a outcome more related to gambling than trading. I would venture to say that I'm 'kinda' happy because i did not get myself in impulsive trades. I did lose pips today but nothing terrible. My charts lied to me, i positioned myself on the wrong side of the market but I also kept my discipline and traded my strategy.

I don't have the holy grail and I will make mistakes. Looking better I'm 'kinda' happy 😀

It is still Monday and I have big possibilities of making up for my losses. It hurts but I'm still alive financially and I can trade another day.

See you guys tomorrow and tomorrow is another day.
