guys and gals

what I am thinking is, there are bunch of Robots in the market with very good straight up equity curve BT result.
BUT when those put into Forward Test the realty is totally different from the BT results. even for the most popular ones or the expensive ones the result is the same.

so what is in my mind is all those robots including the self coded ones are just somehow high or low level optimized and the FT results are totally different.

at that point the solution is there should be robot that coded with the basic rules of the market with > 1Hr chart and can trade more then one pair with that basic rules. '0' optimization.

I guess this is the real solution for the consistant profitable system.

Lets think about 2007. in 2007 price actions happens most of the the time in 1 bar at 1Hr chart. but in 2011 it takes 10-15 bars to happen. any system can not handle both situations. and algo switching system is extreemly complicated.

so from now on I will focus the most simple and basic algo that can trade with multi pairs.

FYI

2011 is the one of the tough year for EURUSD. most of the algos doing well with past years are faling in 2011

BTW may be soon there will not be EURUSD pair to trade.

the issue is if I code exit regarding to the TL s both in profit and Loss the result is BE. so there should be a level definition for exit.

when I WAS coding an EA I always code both Long and short togather and reverse of each other. now I have change my work and first coding the Long. when completed will work on short. and those will not be mirrored code.

EURUSD 1 HR chart started to be the same as year 2007. reactions happens is 1 bar. I advise the manual traders switch to 15 min chart who is trading with 1Hr. bad days Ahead.

an advise for EURUSD

long entry PULLBACK
short entry BREAKOUT

when going Long BREAKOUT fails more then PULLBACK
when going Short PULLBACK fails more then BREAKOUT

this combination is better then both PULLBACK or both BREAKOUT

another important advise

if you are looking BAR OPEN or BAR CLOSE for BREAKOUT you should check both

CLOSE[1] >Level
&& OPEN[0]>Level

they both should BREAKOUT

IMPORTANT

end of year

some brokers want to balance their Balance sheet so the best way is blowing some accounts. and for this is the best way changing the leverage and this will cause margin call for some accounts.

BE CAREFUL about leverage. if you have open trades and if you are swing trader check your account leverage daily.
