Hi guys,
Can you please advise which brokers allow you to keep Demo accounts open indefinitely? I'm currently using Alpari UK but they close them down after 30 days of no trades and I want to list my demo accounts on here on a monthly basis. As I am now done with Dec14, there will be no more trades on that account but I need to keep all the trades I did on it 'clickable' via MyFXBook.
Thanks

Instructions....

1) They're demo accounts, so they're not good examples of trading under real conditions.
2) They're demo accounts, so they have no real value.
3) They're demo accounts.
4) See items 1 through 3 if you have any questions.

Also..... You could just log into the account every couple of week or so and place a pending trade at a price you know wont get triggered (a few thousand pips away from the current price?), set it with an expire time in the near future, and then log out. The system 'should' see it as trading activity. However, you might want to consider steps 1 - 4 in the instructions above.

If it looks too good to be true, it's probably a scam! Let the buyer beware.

I think; only 3 months will be unable to unsure good trading skill by practice! whatever; demo is the best way of Forex learning; no doubt on it!

Demo trading the first of trading in Forex , but Honestly speaking I have never used this trading place when I was a newbie. Because I was bored in here. I studied in Pips School and besides this i was in live account with small balance. It worked greatly instead of demo account.

Are you able to make it done or not? I am not realising anything of what you just mention anyway.... can we see something better really done or whatever things. I am hoping it will not be there lately. Why do you make so much issue demo accounts?

Not sure what you really mean here, you should be able to trade in demo account on an infinite mode and that's really it no matter what absolutely and possibly. Thanks for letting me know all that stuff clearly. I didn't even assume.

You have clearly got yourslef involved with the wrong kind of brokers. They sjhould not close your demo account just because no trades are happening. These kind of brokers usually have a secret agenda behind their demo accounts. I am afraid that there is no way you can escape this, It is going to happen no matter what.

You may be a beginer but you have gone way too far in the wring direction already.. There are so many good brokers that you could have chosen. Always check the terms of the brokers before you decided to work woth them. Think carefully before you make decisions.

Just open a tiny trade with an unrealistisk TP/SL, like sell 0.01 EURUSD for 0.1 TP, seems to qualify with most traders as active.

I think that demo is the optimal tool that came into trading.
Because with its help you can not only test different strategies, but also just work with your emotions and evaluate the terminal of any brokerage company.

This types of broker is not customer friendly. Without demo how can we test our strategy. To test a strategy it needs a lot of time. Sometimes 6 months sometimes 1 years. The longer the data the best the outcome.

Your system published to MFB will stay there eventhough your broker will delete your account.

Demo practice for new traders should be done for a minimum of 5 months. Demo trading should be done as long as you are not able to develop skills in demo trading. You will get satisfaction by trading in that broker. That broker should be traded.
