Something very similar happened with FXPro earlier today, causing some very odd behaviour. Maybe it is North Korea or some other rogue state trying to wreck 'Capitalism'? 😇

Yeah yeah yeah and if you tooth falls and you leave it under the bed, then the tooth fairy leaves you money. You use the term 'scam broker' to loosely. I have withdrawn over 31k usd over the last 8 months with icmarkets with 0 issue. So how could that be a SCAM broker?

The answer is YES, I withdrew more then I deposited, and if it wasn't for the simple fact that they even sent me back anything makes them NOT A SCAM.

My withdrawl was over 40 % larger than my deposit with IC Markets. Took 3 or 4 buisness days with also 0 issues. I had good experience with IC Markets, and as i said, they were one of the best until lately.
By the way hackers have stepped up the game lately anyway, hacking TV stations, major companies and even governments. I didn't dig into what happened exactely, but generaly i expect any online site or buisness for hackeres to be a potential target at this point. They seem to have the upper hand right now, and it might take a while for security measures (in general) to catch up.

SEE LOLS.. 😇

May 2015: There is an FPA Traders Court guilty verdict against this company. The FPA recommends caution dealing with ICMarkets.com until this issue is resolved.

negative experience with them.
I'm referring to serious technical problems during past two weeks, which have resulted to numerous outages from couple of minutes to hour. Finally, after 1.5 weeks on continuous problems, ICM issued a formal letter explaining that problems were caused by their ISP and that particular ISP has been completely removed from their infrastructure. Unfortunately it seems that they lied, as there was another lengthy blackout right the next day and also the day after that (today, still no connection. No word from ICM, of course).
Dear IC Markets, you are selling two things: your service and trust. If service fails, you should work very hard to keep trust. To keep trust you must communicate. Sitting quietly and hoping that problems go away is the worst tactics ever. You have e-mail addresses, MT4 mailbox, FB and Twitter accounts. Please use them and tell your customers what's going on, how long it will last and what are you going to do about it. Nobody needs your silly motivational messages when your network is actually down. Or maybe you think it's bad to publicly admit your problems? Well, if you look around in Internet forums, you will find 'ICM got hacked', 'ICM is bankrupt', 'Take your money and run' etc. That can not be good for your business, I'm afraid. But this is direct result to your poor communication and there are people in your organization who are responsible for that. Maybe you should replace them with somebody who actually cares about your customers and your company.

That's my review I did for FPA. But I don't agree with the Traders Court verdict- looks like bs to me.

Definitely they should improve security and infrastructure. Definitely communication and telling the truth to the clients
For withdrawal there should not be an issue unless everyone is going to do so now;-)

That is what I was talking about... SCAM brokers do everything to take money... Serious brokers do not have problems with traders and bad rewievs.

well the outage was because of a large scale DDoS attack something most ISP have hard time protecting from but too claim they were hacked or that they are a Scam broker makes this thread abit unprofessional
Trade wise go for the long run

Well they denied being hacked
They issued official statement that was wrong
DDoS attack is sort of hacking
Lacking protection against it is lacking good IT
