Hi,

I would like to warn you. Do not open account with this broker. They have servers down very often.
Support just sucks, they blame ISP but they do not even know who is their ISP.
This broker does not know why servers are down, it does not know when it will be fixed.
They are not able to answer even the simplest questions about problem.
They do not care about customers and are not willing to help.

DO NOT OPEN account with them.
If you already have account please share this post everywhere

Their official statement is - blame ISP. While one of their server was online and 2nd was not such explanation cant work.
They must have been hacked but they wont admit it.

They send message via MT4 that should explain it. It does explain anything. They stated they had problem with one of the ISP.
Why on earth they were not able to reroute this one ISP with another during 10 days! I dont buy it. They are on edge.

They themselves admit the problem last week and half,
please read information about the cause before commenting;-)

Yes i read the mail and cause, but do you generally want to say that ic markets cant be trusted any longer?

Yes. There are 2 reasons.
1. They were not able to fix the issue for long time
2. They were not able properly explain and communicate the problem to traders.

Thus they lost the trust they had.

I was one of their IB, they had this issues server down lately on 7th october and also today which is 13th october.

It's very weird broker as ICMarkets claims as TRUE ECN broker but can have this problem twice within one week,

I am here not to promoting or either defend the company, in fact it's very disappointing as I am trader as well.

But if you guys out there, who's had trade affected with the server down, please email the [email protected] to get your reimbursement.
Trading is state of the art.

Am very concerned about your claim. I have an account with them. They disappointed me once when I withdrew some $$ through VISA but it never arrived in my account. In this instance I would not wish to lay whole blame on them as it appears my bank was the one responsible. Other than that and lately losing connection in MT4 for few seconds at a time I do not have a complaint. In fact their withdrawal method through 'Neteller' works best for me.

I wish you could provide specifics for this rather serious charge.

It is not about reimbursement.

It is about being helpless when you have open positions during major economic event which you cant manage.
It is about broker who does not give a shit about traders, who does lie, who does not support you.

Specifics?

Well exactly it is about their server was quite often down during last 10 days and their support wont be able to help or at least explain what going on. Thats the behavior I did not see even for poor Indonesian broker...

I am profi trader. As I do manage significant amounts of money I have technical means to monitor the status of the accounts.
You know what I just got the SMS message the IcMarkets server is down again and it was.
Yesterday they wrote that they fix the issue by removing the problematic ISP.
They lied.

Yup, obviously they lied. But the VPS connected directly to their NY servers (like CNS) works without problems.

There is one explanation about recent blackouts. I guess there is no need to panic about IC Markets at the moment as their servers have been up and running all the time. But they said they have removed the faulty ISP and looks like they lied as there was another lengthy blackout today. Silly mistake.
