Hi Guys. Ok so I've been running 10x demos since last Nov 2015, testing different signals (combinations of) and different settings on different size accounts with the same sets of providers, and they're going pleasingly well, despite the standard blow-ups and signal removals, the diversified risk seems to be working and thus far they have recovered every drawdown and seem to be accelerating about-to-go-exponential.

all looking good, and after a long observation and testing phase Im about ready to dip my toes with a small live account. ..so my question, as the demos are on FXCM, can I expect vaguely comparable performance from a live FXCM account with the same signals and settings ? also does anyone know the charge structure with them? it's not made clear on their site or here, from what i see
any previous experience or tips gratefully accepted, thanks in advance..

Since you're asking for advice, I hope this helps:
I took a look at all the links you sent of the ones you're trying to evaluate and none of them are very impressive. There are a lot of things to mention but the very first thing I look for is, where is the equity and balance line. If the equity line is not always above the balance line, it starts making me nervous (I like to sleep at night).
Then I look to see if the system is making any pips. There are a lot of systems that keep placing larger and larger lots in order to close a losing basket for net profit and that, simply, is dangerous and irresponsible. That method will surely blow your account if you let it run long enough.
I personally wouldn't use an EA that is placing multiple orders with multiple loss. Why not look to make the best entry possible with 1 trade. Then, if you need to hedge, place a second order in the same pair, but that's it, no more.
Take for example the EA on my profile and point out what is wrong with it. Anyone with any experience blowing accounts wouldn't be able to point out anything that is considered dangerous or senseless. I myself, have several experiences blowing accounts and I've learned a lot about what (not) to do. I hope this helps.

hey. thanks for your response. I understand the risks, but let's assume I have done my own risk assessment and the test account is small and spare money I wont miss, and that I want to go ahead anyway, I suppose what Im asking is:
if I were to start a live account and another demo simultaneously, at the same broker, (FXCM) and at the same size and settings, how much different would the figures be on the real, and the demo?
it would be great if somebody had already done that :) otherwise it will probably be me does it first..

Well, just readed some old posts, providers that cashes, then desappear... it seems just like zulu, we'll see.
Btw I do not understand why if I decrease size multiplier, minimal account increase ! - ?????? -😄

It is not an issue. When reducing multiplier, it means your lot size will be decreased. When the calculation reaches a point where a lot size cannot be broken down into smaller pieces (the minimum lot size is 0.01 lots), the only way to offset the risk to the required factor is by increasing balance.
Please check the multiplier formula here: http://www.myfxbook.com/autotrade/help#help_9

Ethan, I noticed that when a provider account is paused the risk indicator in my autotrade account is not updated accordingly. Is this an error? The risk indicator only updates when the provider account is deleted from my autotrade account. Thanks.

Hi Ethan,
I have some questions:
- in which broker the markup is the smallest for using the autotrade
- are the signal provider/trader really interested in making profit for the participants or are the only interested in making volume trading to profit from the rebates
- can I somehow seen the real profit simulation, if I am using a given broker
Thank you

Hi All,
I want to know if anyone has made decent profits from Autotrade system.
Few Questions:-
Which broker ?
How much did u invest initially ?
Which autotrade signal providers and Risk settings?
How much is the slippage ?
Trades copying quality for trade duration less than 4-5 minutes ?
Any more suggestions ?
I have made up my mind to open an account with Autotrade. Just need some further suggestions. U can message me or write on this forum as well for other as well.

Yes but that's a demo account
If that was a Live account then it would be a different matter
