it's bad that many treat the demo as something unnecessary, but this is far from the case, this is a very important feature in the work of a trader

As per my point of view, through demo trading you can enhance your skills, know about a particular trading environment and can make yourself prepare for the live trades.

The main goal of demo trading is to meet a trader with trading activity. It's a quite good instrument for acquiantance with various oeculiarities and features of trading activity. It literally teaches you how to trade. It's a great empirical method I guess. There are no alternatives to it. Even if you will watch some videos where traders make traders, it won't give you such experience as your own demo-trading will. In my opinion, the main two things in the process of learning trading activity are theory (videos, courses, information) and demo-trading. All brokers offer such a function. You can also create, edit and test strategies on demo account.

Demo accounts offer an opportunity for traders who are interested in learning more about forex trading or who want to test out a new type of trading strategy without putting their money at risk. But it will not give you the experience of actually trading.

@marindateal Yes demo is very beneficial for learners. Some people say it has no use. But to test our strategy demo is the best platform. We can't risk money by testing a strategy on live account.

Absolutely, I would just say that a demo trader need to however keep trading realistic, and not use a bigger amount in demo when in live he would be using a smaller account.

Demo trading is not mandatory, but it is essential to test and enhance your trading skills. The purpose of demo trading is to strategize and develop practices that can make you a trader who knows how to minimise risks.

The purpose of demo trading is to allow traders to trade without risking real money. It's also an opportunity for them to explore the different features of a particular platform before actually using it with their own money.

Demo trading gives real-time experience. You can place trades and see how the market responds without losing money. When you feel comfortable enough, switch to real trading with a real account.

Demo accounts are meant for everyone, whether a newbie or an expert. While demo accounts can be used by any trader, it is best for newbies since they have little knowledge of forex, as well as, to learn how to minimize losses and maximize profits. Demo accounts are almost like real accounts. Their only difference is that they are not real.

Demo is just to know how the system works and test your strategy. It is good if you know the winning ratio of your strategy by trading on demo. But usually most people use demo to see how much many they can make. They do not focus on creating a strategy. When you trade with real money, there works a fear of losing money. You become too much conscious about your decision. In demo you don't affected by any emotions like fear, greed and overwhelming joy.
Demo trading is something, which must be taken very seriously by every single Forex trader. A trader must devoted himself in demo trading at least for a year. He also is to make sure that he trades on demo as if he is trading on a live account. Once he is confident, he may switch to live trading. A demo account is still need to be maintained by a full time trader to check his strategies.
