Is there anyone out there that may have a fix for hyperactivity issues with an EA?

I also like manual trading better. I myself control the entire trading process

Manual trading indeed might be a good solution for you. You can use an automated system to send you alerts but it might be better to make the actual trade yourself.

If trading psychology is strong, then it is possible to gain satisfaction by trading. Of course, it is better to trade manually.

It is worth saying that using an EA has its advantages. However, a trader who clearly follows the rules of money management and his forex strategy, has a sense of the market and high discipline will always outperform almost any forex advisor. So I would advice you to trade manually, and you can use advisors a little less often. This way you will be 100% confident in your actions and trading.

I think it will be correct to use the advisor at the initial stage of your trading.
