What do you wish to achieve through forex?

To make unimaginable amounts of money- haha. That's wishful thinking, but on a serious note I look at forex as an amazing way to make money

First and foremost it is money that remains my primary drive in forex trading. But other than this I think it is really cool to be able to hone your trading skills and learn about new markets, styles of trading and just be able to find an alternative stream of earning some extra dough

I've been a programmer so creating EAs was right up my alley. The end goal, though, is money. I hope to make a big enough revenue stream to supplement my income at first, then hopefully make enough to live off it 100%.

As they say, money makes the world go round, but I don't want much. In fact, it can just supplement my existing income.
I would just love to be in a position where I can purchase a reliable vehicle (it can even be second hand!) with a tow bar and a caravan, so myself and my wife can travel a bit in our country, return and work a bit and do it over. Perhaps a camper RV will be a better investment.
I am definitely not the type of guy that wants a yacht and ferrari.
I would love to make enough to save for a house deposit.

This is how I would have answered this question after X months starting trading
0 months - I want to be a millionaire
3 month - I want to make some profit
6 months - I want to make a little extra income
9 months - I want to make back my losses
12 months - I don't know anymore, I've been doing it so long it's just what I do

This is probably the reality of most traders.. Then again, 1 year of experience is not too long in trading and your's too will get better if you keep going.
