Hi Guys this applies to those trading live,

To keep everyone informed for the up and coming week (starting July 7th)

1) I am only going to continue sending EURUSD for the foreseeable future. It is most profitable out of the pairs. I am working on an improved version for USDJPY in final testing but I will not include it in the signals until I have thoroughly tested it live on my own money first before risking yours.

2) RISK. Please be aware that next week I will change the sender from 0.01 lots to mirror my own risk. The risk will be automatically adjusted dependent on your own account size. This means you now control your own individual risks rather than me.

THIS IS EXPLAINED IN THE SETUP DOCUMENT BUT I WILL CONFIRM AGAIN HERE.

In the copier you will see the default setting UseRiskFactor” is set to 1. The setting of 1 means 100% of the risk I use on my live real money accounts. NEVER SET IT GREATER THAN 1. But feel free to use less as you see fit.

With a setting of 1, you could loose up to 18% of your account in a worse case scenario at this setting, with the max numbers of trades all hitting the max stop loss. Max trades is currently 9, each with a max stop loss of 2%.

If this is too much risk, then set the UseRiskFactor” to less than 1. For example, if you set it 0.25 you will use ¼ of the risk I am using so should be restricted to 4.5% DD in a worse case scenario.

If you do choose to copy my risk exactly, then the lost size per trade with be ~ 0.01 per $100 in the account. This means if you have $100 account, you have already been trading at full risk and you have no worries. But if you have a $1000 in your account then your lots will jump to 0.1 lots and both your risk and reward will increase 10 fold over the testing signals.

You set it as you see fit. If you leave it at 1 you are copying my risk exactly and should do well in the long term, but it could be a bumpy ride. I just want you to be warned.

Next week will be the hardest week physiologically. I hope the market is kind and lets you all build up a profit buffer prior to losses. But in my experience the markets are never kind.

Good luck, do not risk more than you can afford to loose, Cheers, Andy

Hi Guys,

I am very sorry but at this time PFD cannot accept clients from the U.S. I have not yet found a U.S. compatible broker, I honestly have not considered this until now. I will keep an eye out. Unfortunately at present the system will not work for U.S. clients, I am so sorry,

Cheers, Andy

Hi Optimofx,

I do show a screen shot from one of my live development accounts, a few messages back. I don't want to post my live account directly as the pending orders placement as-well as other things could give away too much about my system. I have put nearly 10 years into this.

I understand people are skeptical, I am not selling anything here. I am passing on full rebates identical to my main accounts and just working with a handful of people to see how the copiers work. I guess I could setup a new live account for people follow, but to be honest I don't want the whole world signing up. I would rather work with a small group of nice people. I have few more spots but when the copier is full it is full, I only have limited hardware capacity this end. If people put faith in me I will do all I can to help them make money of course I can't guarantee they will, but I can guarantee to try.

That is all I can do. I have been scammed (if you count just about every commercial EA that does not make money) myself, and I understand the overwhelming skepticism.

Thanks loads,

Cheers, Andy

Here's mine, but keep in mind I am also testing other trades on that account, but you should be able to filter based on the trading style.

Yes, lots of scammers in this market, but I have enjoyed working with Andy so far, seems to do everything he says he does. Rare these days.....

Hi Guys,

A quick note

1) I will turn off signals today until after the FMOC.
2) I changed the sender slightly, now the max trades is 12 trades, but the risk per trade slightly lowered so the total risk remains the same.

Hi Andy,

I received some alerts on my MT4 regarding some signal broadcast - invalid timestamp / timezone. I closed it too fast so I couldnt remember the exact message. I saw some PFD accounts (public link) in the BOOM thread and 1 of them has trades today, and the other doesnt (similar to mine). Is there anything I can do to check on my end to make sure settings are right?

Thanks,

Nicholas

Nicholas, I had same issues. First could not get heartbeat for hours. Then there was one, but the time was completely off, and then I got all these alarms. Now heartbeat looks ok, but no trades yet today. Guess we missed the earlier signals. Let's see if andy knows what exactly happened.

Hi Guys,

Sorry bad thunderstorms here last night. I think my network switch got fried, even though it is behind UPS and surge protector. Got up and all network was out. I replaced it and everything I think is back and running. I guess the errors you were getting were because I could not get signals out.

This is why I place the covering SL and TP with the trades to protect you. The copier your end adds additional SL and TP on top of the ones I send, this way if for some reason the signal goes out exactly as a trade is in progress, your open trades still should covered your end.

Sorry for the hassle with this.

Cheers, Andy

Hi Guys,

Yes bad today, I am down a lot too.
We certainly need some good days soon.

I see the signal is more than 10 seconds old my end as well on mirror.

I think it is when the market moves fast and lots of trades are attempted.

The trades are being copied. Tonight I will take a more carefull look at each trade on everyone account against mine.

A quick look, indicates I lost the same as your guys, so while you do miss trades, the overall outcome is around the same.
Bad day today

Hi Guys,

Sorry about yesterday. The Yellen testimony was not good for us.

The system does not like sharp spikes with extreme volatility.

Normally I only avoid NFP and FOMC, as all other news in the long run is highly profitable.

However, as non of us can afford another large loss, I am going to play it safe and turn it off until Yellen is finished today.

I will leave my systems running live at low risk to see what would have happen but turn off the signals to be safe.

Cheers, Andy

Hi Guys,

Thanks loads for all your support. Sorry performance is so bad.

Here is an update my end. I have been looking closely at what is going on here in terms of the poor performance. Some is poor market conditions but a lot boils down to slippage at the LP’s in the current market conditions (please see the attachment).

First you should understand that the signals I send are triggered once the order is filled on my live account.

Let call these A) Original Live Signals.

Then for testing I have been sending these signals to
B) A demo account (in attachment)
C) Back to one of my live accounts again (in attachment).

Not let’s consider some scenario’s. If A has much less slippage than C, then it indicates copier delays. I don’t see this, the slippage on my original orders and the recopied orders is essentially identical.

So this indicates the slippage is resulting from the execution at the LP’s. Both A and C are the same and much worse than B (B has no slippage as it is a demo).

Interestingly you will see performance (and thus slippage) on the live and demo up until last week was pretty close. After you factor in rebates (not included here) the live account was on par with the demo, this of course is very rare and an indication of a great broker. But this week, the slippage has killed the live accounts.

I have contacted the broker to ask if there is anything they can do to help reduce this for us. Lets see that they say.

Beyond, this I am re-optimizing the system using the PFD live conditions (rather than demo). It seems there may be potential here, especially for USDJPY. The new system was profitable this week, while EURUSD still lost, USDJPY made more than the EURUSD lost. This is actually live. I am working fulltime on this and will replace the present signals, once I can be 100% sure it is statistically better.

Thanks loads, Cheers,

Andy

Ranting! Ranting! and Ranting! i smell a rat. The indication for eventual demise. A robust system should neither be rattled by slippage nor LP’s.
