How anybody in his right mind could have assumed that an agressive grid strategy (like this) could survive - regularly occuring - major and forceful market moves...??

In general, it is just amazing how Grids and Martigrids still can catch investors. THEY ALL FAIL. The questions is NOT IF, but WHEN.

I guess Grids and Martigrids will always be eternal Mirages for inexperienced traders...

Dear Paracelsus.

The strategy is still highly profitable. It made a loss but this loss is from previous profits. Every strategy makes a loss from time to time.

I started to copy his signal just a few days ago and he told me maximum stop loss on the account would be 25%. Two days later I lost 50% of my account. I also raised my concern of trading during the volatile news event this week and he assured me that less risk would be used. Instead the EA increased more positions (overall more than 50 SELL positions) against the upward direction of EUR USD and then all positions stopped near the highest resistance. Now he does not respond to e-mail or messages. And he is meant to be a professional with many years experience??!!!

Hi lexy1022,
This is the way he advise and blew the account. He also blew my account in past.

Guys,

I quite dont understand how your account was blown. We made a big loss but still it is loss that could be recovered.
