try re-installing FGB, then using the license software to re-activate you license #. Then start up mt4 and try it.

In the same computer, in another MT4 instance, i have Growth working like a charm...

Yes, in licence manager my account is ACTIVATED, but in the real world is in VERIFYING....
Closed and opened the mt4, the only thing i have not tried was to reboot the machine.... some of you that have this issue have tried to reboot the machine?

Thanks

now is active!

uninstall mt4 - uninstall fgb -> install mt4 and fgb new, start license manager, than fgb is active! this was my solution!

Hi all,
I bought & installed basic FGB last night. How's it been trading so far this week?. Cheers

The FGB doesn't like back and forth movement. Watch it close or it will eat your account quickly.

Heheh, you have been missing out then! It has been making me money this past week. At least since i tweaked the settings it has. I do recommend watching it on a demo to understand how it trades before putting it on a live account though.

I am curious, if the FGB finds this time the right exit point. All the trades are in profit but for how long?

If you are concerned about the FGB falling back to a loss, put a protective stoploss in above the entry price. that way it is nearly impossible to have a loss.

well the question is: could I completely leave the FGB to do its work, or should I monitor the trades.

In trending markets, you can leave it alone and it will make you rich. In choppy swinging markets, the EA needs to be monitored manually, or have a trailing EA setup to baby sit it....since the internal trailing function will not trail all of the positions.

150 pips was good enough for a day to me. And closed manually...:).
I say again: if the creators make a good exit strategy, FGB will be the best trend EA...

same here. +122pips, manual exit by swiss army EA, trailing stop 15pips after it profit only.

Your right. But I think the lack of an exit strategy is intentional from the vendors of this EA. No one would sell a very powerful and profitable robot to the public. Usually they downgrade EAs before release to the public. With a decent exit exit however this EA would make some good profit..

I usually use my fibo levels and some forex sites resistance levels for the exit strategy.
